That guy is being mischievous. For Manchester United, he is bringing up the stat for the entire season but for Madrid and Barcelona he is bringing up their UCL stats.

The Premier League Player of the Season award has only ever been won by a defender four times. Vincent Kompany (2011-12) and Virgil van Dijk (2018-19) both won it once.

Nemanja Vidić alone won it twice (2008-09 & 2010-11) and was the first ever defender to win it.

But people try to say the run away from a challenge merchant is better smh

I don't think so

There is still next season and the season after that and the season after that. Anything can happen, you get my drift. Just advising my guy so that somebody won't quote him in 2 or 3 years time to ask him how far, in case VVD wins it again

However I think Liverpool will soon start faltering. Staying at the top is harder than getting to the top.
