mostob: you wasting your time talking to people who see Christianity as a ritual for prime minister of Italy to be crying on national TV and asking God to intervene shows that this world leaders despite all their efforts they know only God can save and grants break through. even Trump declared a day of prayer for Americans to pray and I am so sure some naughty folks here would have abused Nigeria to be over religious country if the government had done same. please don't mind them...like I said I have seen God work and I know what He can do, so I will.keep my trust in Him even at a worst time than this 1 Like |

I read rumors of Rohr's possible replacement. My take: If Rohr's contract is not renewed, I will forget about the Super eagles and not bother wasting my time because it is clear the team will be affected. |

AllforJesus7: The question is with who? To be candid it might be difficult for nff to pay his salary with this pandemic around. It seems we re broke. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Nobody: 1:22pm On Mar 23, 2020 |
soetanoreoluwa: There is no official statement that we are broke. Besides there are funds in the reserves to cushion the effect of this period. Furthermore, Nigeria is diversifying. Our non oil revenue as at 2020 is around N1.81 trillion which is gradually drawing closer to overleap the oil revenue (2.64 trillion). Lastly Pinnick announced in an interview that the federation had a partnership with a private organization which is sufficient to sponsor the coaches salary for sufficient period. In conclusion, We are not broke. Not renewing Rohr's contract is an orchestration most likely engendered by corruption. Remember Pinnick kept emphasizing on the inclusion and supporting of local players in the new contract. They are probably pressuring him because Rohr does not collect bribe and the means of 'chopping' for the corrupt individuals have been blocked so they want him gone. However, we all so how it turned out with the U17, U21 and Olympics team. Corrupt team selection, woeful results. It is always never in the interest of the nation or the fans when they make these kind of moves. It is for their pockets. Thanks. https://www.ey.com/gl/en/services/tax/international-tax/alert--nigerian-government-presents-2020-budget-proposal-to-national-assembly |

AllforJesus7: Please guy, note that I say this with agape. Please stop all this negativity and Armageddon nonsense. We aren't doing better but we have recorded just one fatality so far and eben the patient had already suppressed immune system since he was a cancer patient that had just undergone chemo. Our leaders have closed down schools and many workplaces have been instructed to allow their workers work from home. Security agencies are now enforcing a max limit on the number of worshippers in religious centres and people are being sensitized daily. Are we perfect ? No. But so far, we are one of the best performing Nations and even the WHO have commended our efforts. Just try to stay positive and sensitize people while you can and in the same vein encourage them positively. Hope this is clear? I call you blessed 1 Like 1 Share |

Blueelf: Very clear sir. However my argument on this issue has always been against underestimating the devastative effects of this virus which is being reflected in the people and in the slow reactions of the government. My brother, here we work with sciences. I have been trying to explain that the spread of this virus obeys the classical bell (Gaussian) curve, meaning ideally the cases will increases very fast geometrically before it evens out. However, we can bring down the peak of the incidence of the virus by applying strategic scientific procedures. I said earlier, shut down the airports, now they eventually realize this. I was telling Danielnino00 a few days back that Lagos is a hot spot for this virus but he didn't think it was that serious. By now I expect the government to lock down Lagos and roll out some beneficial relief measures to those who will be badly affected financially. I have faith and I believe that there will be no serious occurrence of the disease in Nigeria. I however want everyone to take it seriously and take precautions effectively. Peace my brother. |

this incompetency is getting annoying up till now flights are still allowed in from the UK even as at today there were reports of some law makers refusing to be screened prior their arrival from abroad at the airport

We joke too much in this country...last month some folks here were even downplaying the effect or potency of this virus in Africa and Nigeria. This is not a case of raised fears. But the need to not underestimate the disease and overestimate our ability to manage such. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Unfortunately a lot of our returnees including politicians celebrities religious leaders and so called educated people are just behaving irresponsibly. tbaba1234: just imagine what you wrote does the virus spreads with nationality sterotype why can't this folks stay where there...besides many who are bringing it in now are Nigerians whom I believe contacts this at the airport in Italy for now my cousin told me you can't fly in can the Americans in Europe notably Italy fly into the USA at this critical hour?? besides why were there no health personnel to test/screen them at the airport |

chrisooblog: bro...this doesn't make sense everyone should stay where they are right now. the lady that took it to Benin just returned from abroad and she used God is Good...just imagine how many folks she must have given it to prior she arrive home for quarantine? ?? the government is not serious at all.... I keep saying it. even here in FCT the minister is not doing or taking any reasonable action like a governor |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by chrisooblog: 5:43pm On Mar 23, 2020 |
Humility017:it is difficult to say a country citizens should not come back into the country. For the woman who went to Benin that is an example of the irresponsible behaviour I spoke about. She came back from Italy where they are seriously battling this thing and she thought it was a good idea to hop on a bus when she should have isolated herself? The only thing I blame the government for is not using the military and other security agencies to enforce this self-isolation because some Nigerians just refuse to have sense |

Humility017: Hope you can see your president wife asking for a total lock down? e don forget day many nigerians dey live from hand to mouth, not that they are even willing to provide for the citizens, so make people just sitdown inside house and nothing to eat? Even our stupid president had to wait for his daughter to return from the UK before they lock down the airport, they better go and test her but they refuse and they are isolating her somewhere we dont even know You can see that atiku ordered his son to be tested, he even sent security to go and get his son, even his son family has been tested negative while atiku son positive earlier, but same cant be said of buhari Stupid country Spits |
