This is a serious issue raised here.

Even here if they are not totally convinced, you won't be tested for Corona as shortage of kits is everywhere.

Even my wife couldn't do any test and she has to be measuring her temperature periodically and send through the portal, as she works from home.

It is becoming more difficult to get it at the official rate. Gtb sent an email that monthly dollars available for international spending was reviewed from 3k to 1.5k dollars. In less than 24hrs again they reviewed it to 5h dollars.

Bros I served in the north, the level of ignorance among the general populace is alarming. The way they take religion is to the extreme.

Someone pointed to an uncompleted building overrun by thick grass at the main point of entry into the town; he said that was supposed to be a Winners Church. The people protested that A church cannot be the first major building visitors should see while coming into the town, so they asked them to halt building almost at the point of completion and allocated another land to them at the outskirts of the town where the church is now. I just shook my head and marvel at the kind of people we share country with.

I know enforcing that social distancing will never work in that part of the country except soldiers are drafted from war front to come and enforce it. Those people do not regard police Jare. All these rubbish you see SARS doing in the south they can't even do half of it before they will burn their area command.

The first problem - Northern elite.

Illiteracy and religion are the opium they use to control them. The more uneducated they are, they more they are able to use them for whatever they want.

These current northern elites are all doing eye service and playing to the gallery whenever these issues are raised. Hopefully the new educated one coming up will be different.

You are definitely right. However, note that Davido has a retinue of jobbers and henchmen that follow him and his fiancé around. If they don't get tested and were unwittingly spreading the virus, the blow-back would have been crazy in terms of contact tracing etc.

Also, Davido is connected. Any of his "uncles" like Dangote can put a call through to Dr. Chikwe or the Health Minister. You know how Nigeria works.
