I ve noticed that our politicians seems to test positive for covid every day while exhibiting mild symptoms at best. Meanwhile, our friends and family can be coughing up their lungs and still not get access to a test or even a hospital bed. 3 Likes |

This was how the labour minister said we had enough doctors. That our doctors can go anywhere they want since we have enough. How do Buhari select ministers? 1 Like |

Sometimes you wonder how some persons think. We should always be proactive as a nation God forbid the number of person infected increases warranting more ventilators for treatment is it that time we will be rushing up and down looking for ventilators.oga Minister lets have enough on ground first if it turns out we don't need it fine, after the Corona madness other persons might need it. ventilators are very important equipment in the hospital. 5 Likes |

nakaman: Quite apart from helping the patient breath, oxygen is no friend of viruses so there is a need for them. You cant have too many in a country with so many asthma sufferers. We need to keep an eye on those donations. Those donations are sufficient to revolutionize health care in Nigeria. #securethedonations 3 Likes |

The cost of a ventilator soars from $10,000 to $17,000 in the US and two weeks it skyrocket to $45,000.... The question is, is there any difference between business and wickedness? Look at food prices in Nigeria... 4 Likes |

Notify every retired doctor and nurse to be on standby for now. Ask countries with zero cases to be ready to assist with qualified health personnel should things get out of hand and the ones we have got are not enough. |

If chloroquine is very effective and they are using it, then I guess we will need less ventilators per case. However, if this is not the case, it means the NCDC is woefully unprepared, the honorable minister is engaging in wishful thinking, and a lot of elderly men and women, young people with diabetes, heart disease, lung disease from smoking or exposure to polluted air and dust, asthma, HIV, or bad luck, are going to die. Certainly testing and isolation is key to preventing this upcoming calamity, but the government is clearly not yet ready to spend the kind of money it will take to test and isolate infected people at a rate fast enough to contain the disease, and they don’t have workers who are as efficient as they need to be. 10 Likes 5 Shares |

One of my friend jokingly said he feels the way we live our lives in Nigeria, it is possible we have exposed ourselves to some sort of natural immunity against CoVID19....maybe that's why the cases so far are mild. We all laughed. ..but then, Bats have been widely reported to have been the residual animal of SARS-CoVID viruses....I remember I have eaten Bats before in our village back then...not only myself, many people...infact, most adult Nigerians who have lived their lives in villages eat bat at a point in their life. Can we conclude, we have been exposed to some little immunity....Just thinking 1 Like |
