edi287: Better World Cup than Mikel ,did he win the World Cup ? Lol ,did he past the round of 16 which is our usual last Bustop ? What do you mean by a better World Cup ,don’t make it look like okocha took Nigeria to the semi final ogbeni,I need sincere arguement bro and not beer parlour own Kanu is ahead of okocha ,stop telling me about his first season in arsenal ,Kanu has won African player of the year twice and your okocha has won none ,I guess the 1996 African player of the year Kanu won was his first season at arsenal ,remove sentiment pls Trust me okocha will play to achieve what Mikel has achieve Leicester won the league ,and yes Kanté deserved it ,but why is the great Busquets yet to win barca player of the month or laliga player of the year seems you wanna judge by that ? Okocha dribbles don take over una head Jay jay didn’t win African player of the year ,deal with that and stop lookin for excuses |

andrewbaba44:Okocha performance at France 98 and heck even 02 > Mikel at WC 18 Okocha 00, 04 AFCON > Mikel 13. Lool Okocha was apparently an "unproductive" player yet dude scored 30 in 62 games when he was at Turkey? Kanu won AFPOTY based on Atlanta 96 and his first season at Arsenal. Dude barely did jack afterwards and was mostly a benchwarmer... That is a fact! Busquets is a first team regular and made numerous team of the seasons. How many did Mikel make while he was at Chelsea? Okocha >>> Mikel. This should not be up for debate. Mikel and Kanu never one even one MVP award at AFCON for SE. Okocha made 2 AFCON teams of the tournament. Kanu had zero. Mikel had one. Abegi!! Respect Jay Jay!! 1 Like |

edi287: Okocha didn’t achieve anything ,simple Mikel was a DM ,I am not comparing his play with okocha but his achievement I repeat your okocha didn’t achieve anything Why are you speaking of national team football only ,you ain’t speaking of club football ,maybe you know your jay jay was a failure there Your okocha was making team of the tournament but he can’t win common African player of the year ,make una let person hear word with okocha this and that ,someone that can’t even play top flight football at 32 Did your okocha made numerous team of the season in the epl ,who dash monkey banana ? Okocha didn’t win African player of the year and king Kanu won it not just once but twice We saw Mikel winning the 2013 afcon and was also instrumental with a very average eagles Was your okocha insutrumental in the 1994 afcon dad Mikel was in 2013 ? Lol All this una okocha talk and hype was dead long ago ,naija football fans don open eye Abeg El hadji diouf won the African player of the year playin for a bang average lens and having a better 2002 World Cup ,your okocha that you said have a better World Cup could not even win anyone ,even with a better psg side |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 1:37pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
Danielnino00:1. Yekini 2. Kanu 3. Okocha 4. Mikel 5. Enyeama. Enyeama was the most consistent at club level out of them all. Kanu is second place only because of his 2 AFPOTY(one of it he earned due to his performance at an age grade Tourney). We need to be honest and admit he didn't really do ish for SE outside save for a few flashes of brilliance. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 1:44pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:Mikel didn't achieve anything individually at club football. Stop giving the excuse he was a DM. Apart from the season under Ancelotti - tell me a season where we can Mikel consistently played close to a world class level? Don't even get me started with Kanu sef. Okocha came when he was past his peak and gof nominated for PFA player of the season in HIS FIRST season - something Kanu no been ever smell yet Kanu achieved more at club level individually but Okocha didn't? 31 year old Okocha had more impact at Bolton than Kanu did at Portsmouth and West Brom. Fact! Kanu was not a starter at Ajax. Fact! Okocha was the most expensive African player in 98. Kanu wasn't. Fact! Heck do you Okocha as a midfielder had a better goal ratio in Turkey than Kanu did as an attacker in Ajax? Again - Respect Okocha!! |

andrewbaba44:Yekini is only player that's better than him on there. Your Mikel and Kanu best moments came at under age football. Prove me wrong. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 1:53pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:Yeah as squad players. Why didn't Kanu take West Brom to Ucl football since Okocha is overrated because he played at Bolton? Both played together at NT yet Okocha kept outshone him. Why? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 1:56pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
somehow:Okocha that was all about "showboating" - 30 in 62 games AS a midfielder. Kanu that played "serious" football never had a goal in 2 games ratio at any point in club level. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 2:05pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
edi287: Lol as squad players ,find another excuse Same Mikel was instrumental in Chelsea champions league win ,and was regular then Why didn’t jay jay play for better clubs ? Lol he said why didn’t Kanu take west brom to UCL football Why didn’t okocha play for a team that plays ucl football regularly? Should I remind you Kanu is a champions league winner ? What has your jay jay won ? Nothing Obi Mikel average 25 epl games per season and you are calling him a squad player Even yakubu aiyegbeni and Joseph Yobo was more popular in the epl than your jay jay |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 2:19pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:Stop lying... Mikel WAS NOT A REGULAR the season Chelsea won the ucl. He had a MOTM performance in the final true, but he was not a regular that league season. He started the most games the season under Ancelotti. At least Yak and Yobo scored goals and were regulars for their team unlike your Mikel Respect Okocha!!

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Osimhen In my own opinion Man U is the best option for him because they play counter attacking football Chelsea would be good for him tho because they have good crosses, but he would have to battle it with Tammy Abraham and Lampard may use his English bias to favour Abraham Arsenal is the least suitable club for him because they play a possession based style which does not suit his strength. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 2:29pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
edi287: What you just showed there is the stats of a regular player so you dissed your self ,there are some little times obi was injured Mikel job is not to score goals ,so you are wastin your time dissing him with goals Joseph Yobo is a goal scoring defender ,you can’t use Yobo to diss Mikel Even Sergio Ramos have scored more goals than Iniesta and even Xavi ,that’s doesn’t make them not great You can also go and diss the great makelele who doesn’t score also Jay jay didn’t achieve anything in football Even Kanu helped bang porthsmouth to win the fa cup A John utaka helped a bang average montepieller to win the French league What did your jay jay win in club football ? You will dodge this and go to national team ,he won the afcon and so do Mikel Oh sorry jay jay also won the 1996 olympics but Kanu collected the glory so you won’t be interested I guess Kanu was the best player then |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 2:34pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
somehow:Excuses. You just said Nigerians focus on showing boating and i showed Okocha was more than dribbling, now una dey claim impact. Club and national level - Okocha > Mikel in terms of impact. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 2:35pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
edi287: But okocha and Mikel doesn’t play the same positions nah ,why you come Dey bring goals nah ? Like seriously you ran out of what to say ba Mikel is a Dm in 99 percent of his career |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 2:37pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:Mikel was barely a regular at Chelsea. Why are you lying? Utaka helped a bang average wetin?? Now i know you are a comedian. Giroud, Belhanda and that their CB were making contributions yet you want to sneak Utaka's name to prove a lame point. Na wa. Mikel was a squaddie 80 percent of the time. Okocha > Mikel. Respect Okocha!! |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 2:39pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:Because people have been pushing this point that all Okocha did was dribble when statistically his numbers for an attacking midfielder wasn't bad at all. Someone who had a better goal ratio than "GOAT" Kanu is being accused of merely being an entertainer? Smh |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 2:55pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
edi287: Despite me picking Kanu ahead of okocha ,did you even see me praise his eagles career apart from that Olympic I am putting Kanu ahead of him overall because you can’t put away club football from our arguement Concerning okocha goals ,his goals are very okay for a central midfielder |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrewbaba44: 2:58pm On Apr 01, 2020 |
edi287: Oga none of Giroud or belhanda where above average then Abeg ,this is a season I followed and utaka was instrumental and so do Giroud and co ,but none of them where more than average players You callled my point a lame point ,are you not the same person that said why didn’t Kanu take west brom to the champions league ,what is more lame than that ? Then I gave you my point of utaka helping and an average montepieller winning the French league and you call it lame ? |
