From the look of things, Benue may not record any other case again. Not because there wouldn't be actual infection in the state but because people will no longer be willing to subject themselves for the covid-19 test because of the seemingly associated stigma that comes with it as staged by the state governor with regards to their index case having her details being brought to the public domain. To the extent, she has been tagged as Benue Face Of Corona. Pathetic!!! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Even with lockdown in place in some states with markets, businesses and religious gathering closed people don't stay indoors isolated. They see it as an opportunity to go around visiting friends. 1 Like |

NigeriaB:Ortom has confirmed his foolishness with that move. The patient is now denying that she was positive in order to save face. More cases will come from Benue because people who get very sick will be forced to go for treatment but not before spreading it wide. It is better to be stigmatized than to be dead. |

Yet people doesn't want to stay home.... the statistics of those tested, what about those who aren't? On the other thread; Food markets to open from 10am - 2pm, who's fooling who? Is it until we begin to count in thousands we'll get to know what kind of problem we are into? I bet you, the real statistics will shock everyone, if only we know. 2 Likes |
