Why sir? There are so many angles the series didn't explore. For example, the distrust between Tokyo and Raquel. They just jelled like that. How possible? Then do you notice Tokyo actually loves the Professor? Recall she once tried seducing him. Imagine Tokyo as Professor's side chick and Raquel finding out. Then the part of using Nairobi's son to bait her was just fake through and through. That wasn't good storytelling at all. Then the Professor falling for that trick of the Police faking Raquel's death in a shootout. The Professor is supposed to be too intellectual to fall for that. Remember how unemotional he was when Berlin sacrificed himself to keep the Police at bay while they escaped with the loot? His character is supposed to be that detached at Raquel's "death" as well. I mean, he's a professional thief, the death of comrades comes with the territory. I can go on and on. |

AngryIgboMan: There is no bigger business or investment in Nigeria right now than spending the money on yourself. Yes. You heard me right. Spend the money on yourself. Its better you look at yourself in months and see the effect of the money than invest it in one nonsense that is bound to fail. At least you will look fresh and wear nice things.
In Nigeria from the moment you try to set up a business, everybody will start hustling you. From your contractors to your managers down to the dealers themselves! All of them see you as the gateway to their imaginary billions!
You see most of these so called businesses you think that are successful? If they tell you what they really do behind to succeed and stay afloat, you will choose to remain poor. Am not talking about rituals or any form of diabolic thing. Nope. Thats nonsense. Am talking about the real realities of staying afloat in a hostile business environment like Nigeria. You have to be mean, ruthless and evil to succeed.
I wouldn't know how to explain this further. Strong Cartels know better.
Most people here forming jack of all trade in one business or the other don't know jack. All they know is fantansies and utopian mega successes.
In Nigeria, what most people know is how to give you juicy business proposals because you are willing to bankroll it. If you are observant, they are usually nice and sweet at the beginning. They will show you all the upsides of the proposed business without showing you the downsides.
But once they succeed in separating you from your money, the real demon in them will come out. Stories here and there. Mistakes here and there. Losses here and there. Ask them why they didn't see and state all these in the proposal they brought before. They will be looking at you like morrons.
Nigerians are very terrible in keeping promises. They take a lot of things for granted. Thats the reason why a morron will approach you to take your car and drive on Uber, wreck it in 2 weeks and still be looking at you like an imbeccile without any purpose in life.
The worst mistake you can make in business in Nigeria is to LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE TO MANAGE. It will take a very special grace and anointing to get a focused, determined person that is willing to work with you long term. Most human beings especially Nigerians are wired to be Wicked, Evil, Self Centred, Greedy and Covetous. All they know about is themselves.
I have had a friend that opened a restaurant business in Owerri. Months in Months out, losses will be turning in. I told him to mount CCTV without his workers knowing. What he discovered shocked him. Everyday, almost all his workers came with there coolers and were carting away food to feed themselves and their families. They did this in collusion with the manager who was sleeping with most of the girls there. So, how will he talk?
I wanted to suggest to him to use Gamalin 20 or Corrosive aerosols to poison them so they will die gradually. But I was serving God then. That was how this business went down.
So to the brother that has 800k, I will advise you to go and keep that money in your bank account. If you even try to buy a Nigerian used car, they may heartlessly sell a melon or snake oil to you that will pack up in months.
If you dont have any solid business idea you can establish and be managing yourself, take that money and spend on yourself. Everyday withdraw 5k and go and eat cat fish peppersoup and Nkwobi with better palm wine. Its a better investment.
When I made similar money that you have though mine is higher, I ran away immediately and setup a fish farm with 4 GEPPEE Tanks. I have enough fish that will last me for the next 10 years if I manage it well.
This quarantine period, I simply quarantine 3 catfish into my stomach everyday with 3 bottles of Gulder. What else can I ask God?
#BossLife So on point. Those who are not businessmen will never understand. The biggest threat to businesses here in Nigeria is not the government but dishonest employees. So many dishonest people in Nigeria. Family members are even worse. My friend sent money to his younger sibling to build a bungalow for him, dude built one for my friend and built another for himself. Money my friend sent his younger sibling was enough to build 2 storey building. This life! |

I can go on and on. At first you know professor is like someone that doesn't have feeling or fall in love, his plans was to get close to Raquel in the first place but he never knew he would fall in love, Tokyo was tripping but Professor no look her face. And for that trick of police faking Raquel's death, boss things have gotten out of hands and he was even frustrated and couldn't think straight but let's wait sha he might not fall completely he fit be suspense. For that Nairobi's case, one thing I noticed in movies is they always get criminals through their loved ones, na why most no dey get family 2 Likes |

AngryIgboMan: I learnt a new thing here today. Thats the term "Hustling Backwards". I juxtaposed it with all my failed investments with banks and financial institutions and it just dawned on me further that this life is a scam. It has further reinforced my belief that every money I make henceforth will be spent on myself and myself alone. No more savings or further investments.
Let me explain what I discovered with the above quote
If someone has invested 800k last year for a 12% returns this year, if you juxtapose it with the current inflation rate viz a viz dollar and naira exchange rate, you will come to understand that you are hustling backwards. Theoretically and on paper, you are making money. But practically in the real world, you are loosing money.
What makes it worse is that these rogues called financial institutions use your so called investments and do real investments that pay well, pay you a fraction of the profit while still making you keep your so called "gains" with them which they will use for further investments that is still to their gain! I will use a story of what happened in an African country to explain this further.
A story has it that a very poor African country discovered some mineral resources in their country. They didnt know what to do with it. Eventually, they invited a Chinese Consortium to come and explore and handle it. They bargained prices and within 3 months, the Chinese consortium paid them off for the Mineral resources with money made from the sales of the Mineral resources!
This I believe is also what happens in Nigerian financial institutions. They feed you on imaginary tomorrow billions if you invest your hard earned money with them. What do they do with the money? They invest it in businesses which you yourself could have invested on. Then pay you a fraction of the profits.
Something else I find funny is the way people hype this "Invest for the future" of a thing.
Thats the reason why you see people do so many unethical things to survive. Brother will kill brother to sell his land and invest in the so called useless future. Fellow Citizen will manufacture chalk and mix it with chemicals to produce paracetamols for human consumption. Fellow human being will dismember a fellow human being for rituals all in a bid to secure the future.
Thats the real reason why we are where we are today. Everywhere so messed up. Bad news everywhere. All because of Mindless capitalism without recourse to the natural law. Money Money Money. Future Future Future. What about Today Today Today?
Burna Boy Sang... Dangote Dangote Still dey find money oo. If I may ask, what is he still finding in this life especially in Nigeria where a vast majority of her people live below abject poverty.
As at today, he is worth over 10 billion USA FREAKING DOLLARS. Put into context, thats Three Trillion, Six Hundred and Seventy Billion Naira. Only 1 person! So many of you will praise this and call it God's blessings. But in an ideal world, what is one person doing with such wealth when others barely have a roof over there head?
Yesterday, I spoke about "What it really takes to survive and stay afloat" in business realistically speaking.
Do you know how many souls this man's trailers has sent to the great beyond to amass this kind of wealth? Do you know the enormous amount of blood that holds the horrendous foundation of this stupendous wealth? These are just bits of millions of examples of the horrors of the business world.
If I may ask finally, what guarantee do we even have for this so called future?
What if an asteroid from space wipes of the earth? What happens to all these stashed away monies in the banks?
What if Ocean water overuns the earth and that your land at Ajah and Ibeju Lekki goes underwater and becomes useless?
What if an alien civilisation takes over the earth tomorrow?

What happens to all those Treasury Bills, Bonds, Shares and Market Capitalizations? ok Mr AIM I know - you are known and carved a niche for being sentimental, paranoia with words towards situations you consider nostalgic but let me make your brain drift a little. First off, The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you heck; it doesn't give a f uck if life exists in it - Same way, reality is savage. In the real word, there is no such thing as good or bad but man happens to be the measurement of all things and they (man) make God a judge to weight in on the outcome (judgement day). Again in the real world, this God don't EXIST! - Never have - Never will! Life is game and ain't no referee but human tries to carve a niche for God as the refree that oversees Earth.(That's dumb to a realist but pacifying to an optimist.) Now let's get into the real world facts. The world today is a scam and deceptively driven, Below are the bullet points of scams I would like to briefly write on: *Bank *Capitalism *Government *Religion *Big business Corporation These are all fraud interlinked with several web of intricacies to control the world; to control you and me. Bank It will interest you to know the inventors of modern day banking still controls the financial system world wide, they do this using the US federal reserve, IMF, UN and world bank so basically, we humans are being played by these guys. I call them these guys because lately they don't have too much power in the world but they have huge influence and pull their strings using governments as tools behind the scenes. Go make your research to figure out the US federal reserve is actually a PRIVATE BUSINESS but all countries has their money reserve in the same bank treasury. These guys captured the world before WW1 and had always played both sides of war throughout both World wars - They captured African and other third world countries using the MDG scheme and the bank system fraud is still ongoing. Ghaddaffi tried to break Africans loose, they stopped life in him - Another was Saddam Hussein trying to free the middle East, he was also killed, Funny how they never get to kill the now late Fidel Castro regardless of how many times they tried. I will end the bank mystery here because I can never exhaust all. Capitalism You Mr AIM talked about how the Nigeria financial institutions cheat investors - Guess what? That is actually the meaning of capitalism. Capitalism and Democracy are not synonymous so the system will never work because it breeds cheating, selfishness and exploitation. There will always be a social imbalance, this is why Karl Marx the philosopher said, when this imbalances in the capitalist economy starts to manifest, the citizens of these countries that practices capitalism along with democracy will have nothing to say or do but hope in an imaginary God/religion; as he puts it "Religion is the opium of the people." Government Government is working machinery of a form of bureaucracy, what this means is gorvernmet is a business. I won't dwell much on this because everyone is always right whichever way they see it but Socrates was put to death for asking too much questions however before his death he was regarded as the wisest man that ever lived and here is one question he ask when he tried to make the people of Athens see how dumb they were for surpporting Democracy. "If you have a ship on the sea with everyone on board and the ship is intending to capside due obstacles who would you call to rescue everyone on board the ship? Is it a trainned sailor or we all vote for one of us who is inexperienced to go steer the ship?" This single question above led to Socrates death because he was trying to make the people see the flaw in democracy which the leaders at the time In Athens didn't like. I wouldn't touch on the rest points but my reason for writing this long to you is because; I want make you understand the world has been corrupted long ago before your were born and every one is just a slave to the system put in place for man to survive. Trying to go against the system is it for you to be faulted and regarded as an outlaw because in deed, man is born free but in chains all over him. Chains of capitalism, Racism, Ethnicity, Classism, Sexism, Religion, Prejudice and stereotypes and many more. So you need to read to know why things are as they are rather than letting your emotions get the best of you and in the process ruining your frequency flow of logic to solve problems or Stoic-tically accepting them. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Thank God for some little reserve and wifey. Nothing is certain! My wife said " look at the 3 vehicles parked, they are useless right now, the only thing useful is Food, Good health and Shelter. My daughter had temperature this morning and I got panicked and beg God that this is not the right time for this. I was scared. This pandemic will change some of us to restrategise and redirect our focus to what really matters. Many of us have wrong priorities, however aspiring for greatness isn't entirely bad but Nigerians fear of the unknown makes us end up as nervous wrecks. You are on your own in this country from the day u are born till when u die, there is no welfarism what so ever and govt does not give zilch about u. Many people stealing monies is cos the Nigerian system is adversely materialistic,u are dead without money, money is the number one factor in this country,we worship money too much and wrongly perceive the essence of money. If we don't have humanist oriented systems that cares about all whether you are rich or poor,we will continue to wallow in the misery that we have found ourselves. 1 Like |

A305: ok Mr AIM
I know - you are known and carved a niche for being sentimental, paraonoia with words towards situations you consider nostalgic but let me make your brain drift a little.
First off, The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you heck; it doesn't give f uck if life exists in it - Same way, reality is savage.
In the real word, there is no such thing as good or bad but man happens to be the measurement of all things and they (man) make God a judge to weight in on the outcome (judgement day). Again in the real world, this God don't EXIST! - Never have - Never will!
Life is game and ain't no referee but human tries to carve a niche for God as the refree that oversee Earth.(That's dumb to a realist but pacifying to an optimist.)
Now let's get into the real world facts.
The world today is a scam and deceptively driven, Below are the bullet points of scams I would like to briefly write on:
*Bank *Capitalism *Government *Religion *Big business Corporation
These are all fraud interlinked with several web of intricacies to control the world; to control you and me.
Capitalism
You Mr AIM talked about how the Nigeria financial institutions cheat investors - Guess what? That is actually the meaning of capitalism.
Capitalism and Democracy are not synonymous so the system will never work because it breeds cheating, selfishness and exploitation.
There will always be a social imbalance, this is why Karl Marx the philosopher said, when this imbalances in the capitalist economy starts to manifest, the citizens of these countries that practices capitalism along with democracy will have nothing to say or do but hope in an imaginary God/religion; as he puts it "Religion is the opium of the people."
Government
Government is working machinery of a form of bureaucracy, what this means is gorvernmet is a business.
Is it a trainned sailor or we all vote for one of us who is inexperienced to go steer the ship?"
This single question above led to Socrates death because he was trying to make the people see the flaw in democracy which the leaders at the time In Athens didn't like.
Enjoying this thread since April 2020 Pls I can't summarize u have to read. #icantreadtoolong Some people are just waiting for someone to summarize for them. It's lock down read. 2 Likes |
