If okochas talents brought about end products he would have won team and individual laurels. Many street boys exist that have talents not all make it to the big time. Okocha lacked ambition I dare say. He was contented to just appear and entertain. He wasn’t a competitive footballer.Yes the likes of xavi xabi Gerrard Lampard or pirlo May not have jay jay’S Technical ‘potentials’ the little they had was used exponentially. As good as ronaldinho was, once he lost focus, Barca dropped him and from there it was a downhill slope for him. At best, okocha was a potential that was never truly realized. A case of what could have been. Jokerman: |

It is not about comparison it wether or not they were also rans before he came. It’s like saying etoo put Cameroon on the map in afcon. They were already a feared team but with etoo they became better. Argentia were South American giants, former world champions on two occasions. You could say Maradona restored glory not that he introduced it to them. Jokerman: |

Emmanuel Amunike (born 25 December 1970) is a Nigerian former professional football player, who played as an winger. and a football coach Amunike played 27 times for Nigeria, scoring nine goals.[3] He was part of the team that participated at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States, scoring against Bulgaria and Italy;[4][5] also in that year, he helped the Super Eagles win the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia, eventually being voted African Footballer of the Year. Additionally, Amunike played all the games at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, scoring the winning goal in the final as the national team won the gold medal.[6] Knee problems kept him out of the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Mikel Obi did not win more laurels than Kanu. I checked the record to see that some of the things added in Obi's laurels are not added in Kanu's case. Examples are the ones won with Iwuanyanwu back home. If EPL and other European league trophies are considered, same be the case of the ones won in the home front. Also International trophy like World Club Championship was not added to that of Kanu. What about European Super cup which Obi has lost on two occasions. SO KANU REMAINS THE BETTER PLAYER WHEN COMPARED TO OBI |
