Why not Zambia? Because that's where the biggest MK training camp was & its headquarters. I think Tanzanians have this tendency of over-inflating their role & wanting to come off as the lead in the credits. Go and read Sister you will find ANC headquarters pre 1964 was in Tanzania under Oliver Tambo and moved to Lusaka Zambia after Zambian independence 1964. When Thabo Mbeki traveled with other 28 students from S.A to Tanganyika( Tanzania then) in 1962 that's where they got money, passports etc for travelling abroad for their studies.

There were ANC camps, schools and colleges in Tanzania but most of their functions were moved down slowly to Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola and Mozambique after those countries got independence. Among all those countries Zambia had played large part in South Africa independence.

I've met every other nationality more than once, but Zambians are rare. Btw, Ghanaians are more common in SA than say Tanzanians & Kenyans. A huge population of them is obviously in the Eastern Cape because that's where they 1st settled, but they're widespread now. There's a lot of them in Pretoria.
