Like the topic says, what has the lockdown made you see in a different way or made you realise about yourself, family, friends, work, business, etc.?

For me, I wish I had bought all those hard copy books and board games I have being meaning to get back to, like scrables and checkers and learning how to play chess. Right now, even ludo would be heavenly. I am tired of browsing and reading ebooks all day.

Found out my first child can cook soup and jollof rice without any form of assistance, I always thought they only knew how to fry egg, cook indomie and make eba.

In business, the take out guys( suya, sharwarma joints, pizza spots) are making more money now. Most sit in businesses(restaurants, hotels, eateries) are closed.

Please add yours.

I used to think with the millions of MIRACLE CENTRES in Nigeria, once COVID enters 9ja it will be decimated. How wrong I was. The hymn song..."NO NOT ONE, NO NOT ONE". Comes to mind.

It has taught me how whimsical life is. I read The Plague by Albert Camus many years ago and I wondered if an outbreak of disease could ever cause a city to be locked down.

Now, I have seen that in action.

The deaths in Europe and U.S.A made me realize that humans are indeed mere mortals.

It has opened my eyes that nothing is life is permanent
- Some people already calling me that they've slashed their salaries, some lost their jobs, some aren't even sure if they still have a job or not grin

Re-learnt that most thing in life is Family
- Spoke more family members & other relatives that I haven spoken to in a decade.
- Friends which I haven't spoken to for 4 years called, even some far longer.

To always save for the rainy day
- Most people who spend everything as money comes will definitely cry this period.

Also that Nigerians are actually poorer than I thought, I always underestimate our level of poverty until now. All those cars in Ikoyi use to cloud my judgement.

Learnt that family is everything a long time ago, one of the major factor that made me stop 9-5 and get self employed.

Family is way more important than many of us think.

That pussey is nothing, a man is just wasting his time chasing women up and down. For the first time in 7years, I was Able to save, did a lot of shopping for myself. After this lock down , I promise to stay loyal with just one
