I found out that one man could hardly rule this county.

Nobody has any special annointing.
Olive oil, annointing oil, daddy G.O stickers, etc are only for shakara.

Everyone has the same access to God.

The only reason they entice you to come to church is to bring MONEY. Afterall most people will celebrate this Easter at home and heaven will not fall. The only ones hurting are the pastors--less money to live flamboyant lives.

Lol, I have a unique anointing cheesy

That truly, all that glitters are not gold. The only gold you have in times like this are your family, food and shelter, which is also true about life.

You called them 'admirers' and expect they will send you money because you are a woman?

They admire the fact that your shakara will see you through.

It has opened my eyes that nothing is life is permanent
- Some people already calling me that they've slashed their salaries, some lost their jobs, some aren't even sure if they still have a job or not grin

Re-learnt that most important thing in life is Family
- Spoke more family members & other relatives that I haven spoken to in a decade.
- Friends which I haven't spoken to for 4 years called, even some far longer
.

To always save for the rainy day
- Most people who spend everything as money comes will definitely cry this period.

Also that Nigerians are actually poorer than I thought, I always underestimate our level of poverty until now. All those cars in Ikoyi use to cloud my judgement.

My brother,

Family!

I stumbled on an Instagram post of a CEO saying during this lock down, she is reviewing her employees and finding out those she can do without. sad :[

If you say entrepreneurship, some people would lose their businesses after the pandemic.

This lockdown has opened my eyes to the fact that Nigeria is irredeemable and that greed, wickedness and heartlessness have been embedded into the DNA of the populace.

Well, I took on a virtue project coordination job and found that I liked it. Now I've gone back to reading those PM books I left unread for a whole year and seriously thinking of getting certified.

I realized that I'm a bona fide loner...totally enjoying the lockdown as there is no need to make any attempts to socialize.

Well, I realized that Nigeria healthcare system will greatly improve after this pandemic. If not in monetary investment (since there is high probability of stealing all those donated cash left over) but in medical supplies. A lot of NGOs, banks and other organisations are donating a lot of medical equipments and supplies to the make shift isolation centres being created. Equipment and supplies such as patient monitors, cranked beds, bedside cabinets, infraRed thermometers, isolation gowns, etc will not be thrown away after this Covid saga, most govt owned hospital will get them. Also, the old people in the govt will be more concerned about improving the system as a whole.

Lastly, there is so much to be grateful for in this dear earth, family, good health, love, money, freedom....even our daily needs. I can't even hear someone cough without my eyes widening again grin.

I forgot to add the beauty of DIY. Finally fixed the noisy fan, the stiff gas ignition, the loose door knob...

It is well.

Bros you see those hospital equipments that people are donating ? Mark my word after this pandemic episodes some government officials will steal and used them to open their own private hospital or even sell them of to a near by country.

Don't underestimate the wickedness of our leaders

I’ve learnt that Nigerian politicians are the wickedest set of people on planet earth....money that they spend on campaign and vote buying they can’t spare out of it to feed their constituents....this just shows us that we’re ruled by demons

Like the topic says, what has the lockdown made you see in a different way or made you realise about yourself, family, friends, work, business, etc.?

For me, I wish I had bought all those hard copy books and board games I have being meaning to get back to, like scrables and checkers and learning how to play chess. Right now, even ludo would be heavenly. I am tired of browsing and reading ebooks all day.

Found out my first child can cook soup and jollof rice without any form of assistance, I always thought they only knew how to fry egg, cook indomie and make eba.

In business, the take out guys( suya, sharwarma joints, pizza spots) are making more money now. Most sit in businesses(restaurants, hotels, eateries) are closed.

Please add yours.

It reminded me.of something I have always known bt smtmes forget. And that is life is truely simple bt we humans are the complicated ones.

The things that matter most are the simple things we miss to see because.of how complex we have made our lives.
