exactly, the WHO should be blame for many death in corona issue. how can a whole world health organization tell the whole world that only those who are sick should protect themselves with face mask. many would not have contacted the virus if they had put on the face mask in the initial time. but they were decieved by WHO. the Best and First appraoch to fighting this virus is to wear the face mask whenever you want to leave your house whether you're infected or not, then follow by social distance and other hygienic life styles... and not lockdown.

The governor made this known days after his media aide, Christiana Ita, issued a statement which prohibits the movement of people in the state without face mask on.

WHO are acting as new knowledge about a new virus strain emerges. WHO declared this disease a pandemic long ago now. At that point the health authorities of each country should have known what that means and act accordingly.

WHO advised test, test, test. Yet most countries barely tested enough. See Germany, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore that tested widely. Some even did exquisite contact tracing right at the beginning. They kept death rates quite low.

It easier to blame what seems like an anonymous far away body. Than home government that one may be afraid of or partisan towards.

UK blamed EU for it's woes for decades and backed Brexit. Whereas everyone knows that Westminster has so many opt outs from EU rules to a ridiculous level for a member state.

UK would have blamed EU for hindering swift response to Covid-19 if it had not left EU by now.

I use facemasks and gloves in public places in a place where the govt still insists it's not useful. And I have done so for quite a while. Sure I am used to these PPE normally and I would not expect everybody to have similar awareness or access. But each govt can go a step further to help own people. USA even refused free test kits from WHO early on. Delaying early testing.

WHO does not rule any country. Their opinions are advisory based on opinions of experts across the world that they rely on.
