Centcanada: Is Sanwo-Olu a Muslim? Why would he give only Muslims if he isn't one? Is it only Muslims that registered with LASRRA? Are you aware many Easterners work with Sanwo-Olu and also the state civil service? Why always trying to bring tribal and religious sentiments into things? |

manuelreports: How many millions of people are in Lagos? 20 million. Assuming we have 5 people in 1family, that equals 4 million families in Lagos. Is it possible to give each of these families a bag of rice or equivalent at N20,000 each? That's N80 billion naira. How much tax have all of us paid in the last 1 year? The money that Lagos State generates comes from tax paid by a few people and companies. Let's be reasonable for once and speak with knowledge. I know government has not done enough but how much have we also done? They say he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. For those who compare Nigeria with USA, South Africa, in those countries, they tax their citizens heavily. You can not work or do business without paying taxes, but not so here. And we want the same treatment?? |

Throwback: Very correct! Perhaps they were too busy with their jobs and businesses or they were afraid of the tax people coming after them. Now their jobs and businesses cannot feed them in the lockdown, they are waiting for government. |

martha18: This is commendable...wailers will always wail. Let them show us what their state governor's Have given their people back home. I don't know if my father in Abeokuta has received anything from Gov. Dapo Abiodun. I will call him tomorrow to ask him & give the report here. Let's always be sincere. 1 Like |

Ryocaj: When last did you pay your tax? If you have paid your tax up to last year, you have the right to complain. But if you have not, you know what to do now. For other countries, you can not work or do business without paying tax but for Naija, no be so. Ask your people abroad. |

back2sender: Very true...they are aloof...they want to go to Canada and USA with no skill, just to go and hustle. I realize that a few of our youths who don't stay aloof and complain but get busy doing innovative things, very soon get opportunities as a result of their works to travel abroad without hassles. |

Throwback: You are very correct. This package is meant for the elderly above 60years . text messages was sent to them 2weeks ago to confirm their addresses Currently there are many packages going round. Some are from the local govt chairmen . Some are from house of reps, house of assembly members Some are from the party Secretariat But the one posted by the op is directly from the Lagos state govt for elderly above 60years who have registered with lassra. |

manuelreports:Are you aware that the Lekki toll gate is a PPP arrangement in which the Lekki Concession Company will collect tolls for 30 years after which they will handover the toll gate back to govt? The money you pay at Lekki toll gate doesn't go to govt purse. You have a phone, use Google and get knowledge. |
