Guys, why filling your application, How do you answer the question on if you have been denied visa before by Canada or any country(I was denied by US)?

Those that had similar experience should help out

Simply state that "I HAVE BEEN REFUSED A F1/B1 Visa TO THE USA on the DD/MM/YYYY"

If you have previously applied to enter Canada, carefully state "I HAVE PREVIOUSLY APPLIED FOR A STUDY VISA TO CANADA on the DD/MM/YYYY"

Make no mistakes. I hope this helps.

It will end in praise

If one is to do MBA masters in Ontario like McMaster university

Hi guys
Just wanted to share that not all banks in Nigeria currently make use of the myBankStatement method of showing POF, which is sad. So if your bank doesn’t, then you’ll still have to use the traditional SOA paper process. Attached are the banks that currently have the myBankStatement option:

MyBank Statement is a perfect means of showing POF especially for Canadian study Visa application. Your dad can absolutely use it in place of the regular SOA. Being that you're a fresh graduate, you don't need to show proof of current employment in your application. When filling your study permit IMM1294E form, remember to indicate NYSC as your current occupation and include supporting documents from your service to support this fact.

It will end in praise

Thanks So much Boss Frank. I really appreciate ur efforts...

Now to the aspect of Uploading to POF section . I.e Merging of MyBank Statement Ticket, Tuition fee receipt from school, Tuition payment receipt to school, Sponsor Intl. Passport Data pages etc...

Since its a Passworded Document, how will the VO (Canadian Embassy) access it when I merge it together for uploading to POF or is it gonna be a stand alone document. or is it only that first page am (showing the Tickeck no. , password , Name and Destination) am going to upload.

Thanks sir...

In essence the $20,000CAD which has been set aside by your sponsor is sufficient for your first academic year. Please go ahead and include the three (3) months salary bank statement which has 1.2M as the closing balance in support of your flight itinerary and other miscellaneous expenses that might arise during the course of studies in Canada.

While filling the IMM1294E, the financial section, the information you should fill in those columns should reflect the following figures:

Tuition = 8,073CAD
Room and Board = 10,000CAD
Others = 3,000CAD

Funds available for my stay = 24,500CAD

I arrived at this figure, because I calculated annual tuition, room and board, the remaining 2kcad left from your sponsor and 4kcad which is the equivalent of the 1.2M in naira.

It will end in praises.

Baba, I truly appreciate all your efforts. God bless you.

I last question. Since I'm not sponsoring myself, tendering 3 months bank statement doesn't matter?

Good Morning All. Please guide me on the 6m I said I’m about to inject to my Dads account. Considering that the balance therein as at today is close to nothing as all his money has been ploughed to his business, won’t it raise some sort of concern to the visa officer if I credit his account with the 6m in like 3/4days before applying?

Also, he’s a businessman and the cash flow in his personal account has been 100k or less in a single entry, won’t it also create an issue if I suddenly lodge 6m in there even if I spilt it to like 2m per tranche??

Kindly help respond I beg. But please note that he has fixed deposit of 5m each in two banks making 10m maybe the FD Certificates might be useful.

Yes it doesn't matter and doesn't any negative effect on your application. As a matter of fact I know applicants who submitted three (3) months statement and were approved of their visas. Please proceed with it.

It will end in praise.

Hello everyone, I need your assistance.

I got letter of acceptance at a college in PEI. I am about applying for SP and here is my situation:
- I was denied for visit visa last year

- I have a small business that I run.
- I am married with a kid.

- I want to use 7million as fixed deposit. I wanted to buy treasury bills but was advised not to bc of the global pandemic.

- Tuition is about 10,000 CAD. (1 yr program)

- No previous travel history

- I do not wish to pay my tuition because of this covid-19 but the tuition will be part of my fixed deposit. Acceptance fee has been paid.

Pls what are my chances of getting the visa? Thanks.

2. Taking IELTS, GMAT etc
3. Publications, Articles, Journals, Columns etc
4. Academic or Leadership Awards, Special Recognition etc
5. Securing Potential Supervisor (if applicable)

Good afernoon,

I am drafting my SOP and i have been admitted also to other countries like Germany and USA. Do i need to explain why i did not go to these countries but rather chose Canada?

should i attach my admission letters from these schools to my application? would it help my application? or should i just totally keep the information out of my application?

Thanks.
