No FOB has been overun in Southern Borno since 2016. Here in Northern Borno over 8 FOBs were overun in just 2018.

War is not won by press release everyday on how you are defeating or have defeated imaginary boko haram while soldiers are dying in quantum unreported.
Or by trying everything possible to take the glory of another military.

The twitter man may not even know where the soldiers were heading to. He is probably in isolation in a room dishing some old photos for the gullible ones.

Is not a fake news. The Chadian president promised to lead from the front, and he did so. He and his army chased boko haram from Chad into Nigeria, he has helped us in claiming some of our territory back, I hope the Nigerian army won't flee from boko haram as they use to when the Chadians leave.

This is the major set back troops face during raining season. Few troops on patrol are easy ambushed because of the growing vegetation and troops are sometimes forced to do long kilometers patrol on foot.
I remember sometimes 2015 to 2017, we lost a lot of good men and equipment trying remove stalked vehicles in moody sand dune, especially during the night.
It also serves has time for terrorist group to recruit, regroup and re-strategized before the next season.
