Francejaik:UCI - if this is your first time applying to Canada for anything then you don’t have a UCI. But if you applied before or you have an express entry then you have a UCI - Unique Client Identifier number. So for now you leave it blank. Since you are applying online no need to print any document and sign. There’s a validate button at the top and bottom of the forms. Just validate and submit. But for the family form I printed, signed and scanned it again because I didn’t see a validate button there. 2 Likes |

Cflow10:The visa application process for now the only way to apply is online because of COVID. The process: create your profile at GCKey website. Just google apply online Canadian study permit and follow the link to the GCKey. 2. When you have created the profile, you start a new application. First thing will be a questionnaire. Carefully fill the questionnaire because the forms they will give you to fill depends on the answers you gave on the questionnaire. 3. Download the forms one by one, save in your computer, fill and upload back to the website. 4. Financial - combine all your financial documents into one pdf and submit. The good thing is you cannot submit the application online until you have uploaded all documents. 5. Submit and pay. 6. Start to pray. As for the letter of explanation just tweak the statement of purpose you used for your admission. New information you can add include an explanation of how you are funding the studies if it’s not already in your letter of sponsorship. Focus also on explaining how these studies will impact positively on your career - perhaps maybe open you up for managerial positions or give you opportunity for international experience. You have to show them that you have carefully counted the costs for the studies and seen that it is worth it. Just assume you are a VO - look at your application with the eye of a VO and answer any questions you know you would have asked the applicant or any doubts that would have arisen in your mind. 9 Likes 1 Share |

NwanyiOkpa: Hello NwanyiOkpa, Lump sums will surely make the VO raise both eyebrows but if properly justified, both eyebrows will drop unknowingly. Arguably, lump sum deposit is a sin many applicants commits and still gets forgiven upon asking for forgiveness — Justifying the reasons/evidence. But since its a close relative, she can just write a letter od financial support to the effect and provide proof of relationship etc All the best 1 Like |

[quote author=Farahhh post=88240982]Good day all, please I’ll like for someone to help me on the documents I need to apply for a study permit to Conestoga. I just got admitted into the pgd for September intake. I’d also love info on the proof of income like how much naira has to be in the account. I currently work in a bank as a contract worker but my mum will sponsor me. I’m supposed to use an agent by I don’t have 100% trust in him. I’d love details from people who have helpful ideas. Thanks What course did you Apply for? I got admitted too into Conestoga |

22tobiade: Admission process for undergraduate applicants takes 1week-4weeks. As for the chances of securing visa with an undergraduate admission, it depends on your level of education, sponsor (preferably parents), and the rationality level of your SOP. It will end in praise. 1 Like |

Luckymama: Sillysassysally (my CIC spy) in her voice , who was previously in charge of this exemplary service will be completing her MA studies this April. At the moment no one is doing something similar on this thread. Thus, we would appreciate If you would volunteer to take up the responsibility of creating and updating the database of current applications. This would also enable us monitor and keep track about the number refusals and approvals on this thread. More importantly, I have carefully observed over the last 4 years of my existence on this thread that volunteers of this commendable work mostly get approved of their Visas. I hope you will be among them. I wish you success in your application. I trust it will in end in praise for you. 2 Likes |

Lekiboboe: Upload the entire document showing the Ticket ID and password with other related financial documents. Don't worry about how the embassy will verify the authenticity, the MyBank statement has already been addressed to them, which grants the visa officer at the Canadian Embassy the full access to your personal account/sponsor's account . Just make sure your documents are clear enough and readable. It will end in praise. 1 Like |

Hammedbankole: U are welcome, As per Travel History, it doesn't really matter, but I feel u gonna do justice to that on ur SOP (Statement of Purpose). According to a post I got in this forum sometime ago, u can tell the VO DAT, U haven't thought of travelling abroad bfor. Hence, ur reason for wanting to travel abroad at this point of ur life is to augment special worth to urself & also because of how important this ur program ( State ur Program) is to ur career/biz back home which could create lots of outstanding opportunities in ur career & personal development etc. Hmmm..as per sch. Fees.. Probably the Gurus here would know.more about that.... Normally, the sch. Asking u to pay 1 semester is jz for dem to secure ur seat for you & to know ur level of commitment. To the VO. - Paying full & Paying only One Semester is a 50-50 Case. U can endeavor to know d refund policy of the sch. Many av paid half of deir tuition bfor & got approved, some paid full & got rejected and some did not even pay at all & dey got approved as well. I think u should enquire for their expertise in this forum. Stay Blessed .. 1 Like |

Owoch: Congratulations Owoch, its actually been a while. I can remember vividly how so many applications were held for a long period of time without a decision from London visa office as at May 2018 to August 2018. It was a very horrible experience for nairalanders during that time. It's nice to hear that you heeded to the advice given and didn't withdrew the application. We give God the glory and thus glad to be part of your Canadian TRV success story and many others. Thanks for reaching out here about the outcome of the long awaited application. I wish you the very best in Canada. It will end in praises for everyone on this thread. 3 Likes |

Hammedbankole: Travel history doesn't really matter and shouldn't bother you because you don't need to travel out from your home country before you can get your application approved. If you have not travelled before, you can simply explain to the Visa officer in your SOP that you don't like traveling or haven't thought of travelling abroad before. That, your reasons for wanting to travel abroad at this point in your life is to augment special worth to yourself and also because of how important this program (mention few benefits of the program) is to your career/business back home which would create lots of outstanding opportunities in your career and personal development. On the other hand, you can say your busy work schedule doesn't allow you to travel. Payment of tuition fees is not a prerequisite for a visa approval. However, prospective applicants pay up their entire tuition fees to prove to the visa officer that they have the financial resources to undertake the proposed program in Canada. I would suggest if you've the first year tuition, you can proceed with the payment while the living expenses will be in either your account or sponsor's account. With that said, be sure you've perused the school refund policy prior to completing an upfront tuition payment. It will end in praise. 5 Likes |

BizAdvisor: As I always advice prospective applicants on this thread, that the Canadian Visa officers doesn't regard company sponsorship for a candidate (employee) seeking for career advancement in Canada and the fact that no matter the amount in the company's account, the applicant's study visa application will still be turned down on the basis of financial insufficiency. This is as a result of several factors which I have listed in my previous post about Employer's sponsorship. I prefer you're self-sponsored applicant, while your company provides a cover letter confirming the fact that you will be absorbed upon your return with a promotion in office and an increase in salary as the case maybe. As per the direction of the visa process, follow the LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CANADA STUDY VISA APPLICATION to begin your application. It will end in praise. 2 Likes |
