Abegi. 80 years old man die, na celebration of life. As if the children go suffer. He is a victim of himself. Journey wen u no supposed go you go. Haha

The reason for the celebration is the issue here. My grandmother died in 1997 at 76, we killed 6 cows, because she lived a fulfilled life.

Why are you celebrating Kyari's death?

abacha that people were praising for our strong economy?
1#=1$?
Although I was a toddler then but I was told

Who praise Abacha?

That day in Lagos Molue buses carried people free of charge in celebration of his death.

Àkàrà sellers gave their àkàrà out for free. People eating the àkàrà said they are eating Abacha's Àkàrà.

I remember myself and my elder sister were on our way to church for evening service that day, comman see jubilation. People left their smokey sawdust powered cooker to jump outside to celebrate.

Abacha was a Villian alive and in death.

Are we actually supposed to believe Yahya Bello is negative despite 3 personal staff of Abba Kyari had been confirmed positive?

As long as you don't touch your face, you should be fine. I watched a video from a Doctor who works everyday in ICU who said it is fairly easy to stay away from Coronavirus if you develop certain habits, most important of which is not touching your face.

I'm surprised I haven't caught this thing yet, but my wife and I maintain strict protocol of sterilising our hands often and not touching face unless hands are sterilised. Even when I go to work, or my wife goes, it's straight to the office. I keep sanitizer on my person at all times and sanitize any time I leave my office. When we finish, we spray down our clothes with disinfectant before entering the car. Even the steering wheel, gearstick, seats etc get sprayed or wiped down with disinfectant wipes. Soon as we get home, straight to shower and put the clothes in the washing machine etc.

Same with going to the shops, I only go once a week and I can't take a shopping trolley without disinfecting it, also wearing gloves while pushing it. I must stay 2 metres from anyone throughout shopping, and still have my surgical mask on. As soon as I leave the shop, I remove my surgical mask and gloves and throw them away and sanitize my hands immediately. Many people get infected doffing their gloves or mask carelessly and touching their face after touching the outside of the mask and gloves while doffing. As I'm shopping, I put the fridge and freezer items in a separate bag and soak them in soapy water and wash them as soon as I get home, take a shower and wash my clothes. Dry goods stay in the car boot for a few days, for example the shopping I did on Thursday is still in my car boot till now. Make the virus die there first. Even before I bring it in the house, I will still spray it down. Same with letters through the post, I set them aside for few days before opening.

Maintaining these protocols as well as giving everyone 2 metres space I believe makes it fairly difficult to catch Coronavirus.

I understand u and commend these strict preventive protocols u take....It's just that I doubt someone like Buhari or Yahya Bello could've maintained that strict level of protocol ni.

Let me give a graphical example. Yahya bello as a Cas study, after that handshake he exchanged with Kyari, I'm sure he observed the Muslim prayer few hours later. Now the Muslim prayer requires u to perform ablution which involves washing Ur hands with ordinary water, rinse Ur moth with water, dip Ur hands in Ur nose, clean Ur eyes etc.

He didn't use soap or hand sanitizer that could've killed off the virus( the period the picture was taken, use washing of hands and use of hand sanitizers were not top priorities in Nigeria ó)

So I just find it surprising he's negative.

That's why you keep sanitizer on you at all times. Soon as you touch anything outside your house, you sanitise, then you can touch your face.

Yeah, even with touching your face, virus could be on your cheek and not make it into your mouth, nose, eyes or ears so it is possible he shook hands with all these guys and still came out clean.

One of my colleague who got tested and confirmed infected her husband and daughter but not her son within the same household. Same with Davido and Chioma. So it's not 100% guaranteed that everyone you come in contact with will be infected. Virus does not have legs to crawl into everyone's mouth or nose.

Which mitary is fierce? The military was an instrument of terror against the populace under Abacha. It's not like they fought any war under him except the normal peace keeping missions we do in places like Liberia and Sierra Leone.

There is a department under the military then called DMI( I think Directorate of Military Intelligence or something) They were deadlier than the DSS we have today. Dem dey make person loss for life.

Then my old man buys these weekly magazines ; TELL magazine and The News Magazine...The first inside page of the magazine u will see faces of different journalists that have either been confirmed detained by the military or reported missing after they saw military guys in front of his or her house....You will see the face of their babies in the page with captions like " baby David is 7 months old and he hasn't seen the face of his father since his birth. His father Ade Pointer is a prisoner of conscience detained by the military regime of Gen Sanni Abacha "

If anybody is telling u tales about the good works of Abacha, na Scam. During his regime we were selling oil for good prices making damn good money, countries had not yet started using alternative sources of energy. If Abacha had used all those money well, u won't see anybody on that Canada thread on travel section trying to cut out of the country for good

He is a younger brother to Buhari's father I think.

Other way round i think.

Buhari is the uncle but Daura is still the older man.
Buhari was one of the youngest sons while Daura’s father was one of the oldest sons of their father.

Not that uncommon in the north.

Imagine a man who has his first son at 20 and last son at 50.
By the time he is having the last son at 50 his first son would be 30 and having sons of his own.

To some people ceremoniesike that are business concerns, they borrow money with the hope that the amount they will realize from people spreading them while dancing to a live band and cash gifts in envelopes will be in excess of the amount borrowed to prosecute the ceremony.

Most times it ends in tears sha grin

R7 - Round pegs in round holes.

R9 would take several seats behind Eusebio, Gerd Muller and Di Stefano if I have a CF spot to fill.
Wow! I understand for Gerd Muller but I didn't know Di Stefano and Eusebio were more prolific.
