I agree. Onion flavour noodles, or nothing.

You can actually make your own onion flavour with any noodle variant or brand by just sautéing some slices of onion in a little oil till it caramelizes, before adding water to cook the noodles.
That is what I do when I crave onion flavour but can't get the particular variant.

These cinnamon rolls were a struggle. The shape and size didn’t come out as I wanted (I wanted it to fill the pan and press against the sides so it will have roundish shape but square at the places where you pull it apart) . And they weren’t as moist as I wanted .But they taste good and icing helped.

Plus it’s finished so not too bad I guess.

I don't get satisfied no matter what I eat. I'm always eating like an hungry dog and it has made me go broke. I don't think it's normal.
Also, I drink at least 2 litres of water daily (a must)..sometimes 3 litres yet I still eat like an igbo smoker

To make up for yesterday's jollof rice overeating, today potatoes with Greek low-fat yogurt, tomatoes and roasted peppers (pimientos de padron) with sea salt. Mediterranean kitchen.

Yam Fritata for breakfast. No plantain or Irish potatoes so I used yam and it was so good. It was my first attempt though.

Did you pre-cook or pre-fry the yam?

So I followed the paper foil/baking paper method of making toast as advised by Dyt and below is the end product cool

I noticed the following from my past experience:

1. The texture of the slice bread/ how thin the slice of bread is matters. A loaf of bread that contains very thin slices with holes here and there will not always bring out the best result.

2. The machine matters. Just like Prestonn and others mentioned, the scars/markings on the surface of my machine has contributed greatly to the bad end products I always get. Even with the foil paper I used on the surface of the machine, due to the scars on the coated surface I still had issue of the foil paper sticking to the surface. I will sure get a new machine after the lockdown wahala.

Thanks to everyone, make Una come cut small inside the toast so it will reach all of us...At all at all winch cheesy

They look perfect!

Pele.

let's hope this pandemic blows over so that you can have as much yam as you want...unless there's a way you can get it where you are.

Thanks for the insight, I'll try it one of these days, and maybe give you a feedback.

This is what I wanted. Like this. And mine are a bit dry. I used a pre-made dough to save time and I did the cinnamon sugar filling myself so I can’t really say I’m surprised with the result.

Home made from scratch is often better.
