Nigeria would be an impoverished malnourished Neo-Colony split between France & ISIS along with the rest of West Africa.....
Why do you love writing rubbish grin If you deduct the GDP of the north from that of the south, Northern Nigeria would be in the same league with Chad by now, so stop beating your chest. Shame on Nigeria leaders like buhari.

Terrible leaders have been ruling this country,we just get luck say we get oil, imagine buhari ruling a country like Chad grin

Bros, if you know a thing or two about warfare, you'd see they lacked coordination, the troops are poorly kitted they look like a terrorist group themselves, no direction, . They look so scared . They were only shooting so it doesn't look like mutiny. I can boldly tell you Boko Haram fighters are more coordinated than the Nigerian army. It's part of the reason defeating BH has been so difficult. As I was watching that video, I was almost weeping , my little daughter asked me "daddy what's wrong" .. I couldn't even answer because I was ashamed.

I know I should know better, but sometimes I am just sad that people can't see when there is a concerted effort against their country and they go along with it for political reasons.
.
a concerted effort against Nigeria? By who?

This government promised to defeat Boko Haram since 2015, I can't count the number of times the Nigerian military will embark on this kind of mission they are undertaking, they will later tell us Boko Haram is defeated, they will release 4-5 pictures and that's the end.

The Nigerian army first told us they killed shekarau in 2009, in 2013 they also said they have killed shekarau again, in 2014 they said they have killed the person posing as shekarau.

Before the Chadian soldiers were attacked and killed,we hardly hear of any offensive by the Nigerian army, the air Force are the ones always showing videos of one bombing to another, and I keep asking, when will people living in IDPs return to their villages/homes?

It was after the Chadian president led his troops and gave Boko Haram a bloody nose, that's when buratai remembered there is a battle going on in the north east.

Let's see what will come out of this latest operation cool

The Armed Forces of Nigeria remain resolute and highly committed to end the Boko Haram insurgency. The general public is requested to continue to provide timely and credible information for the enhancement of our operations.”

Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Enenche, informed that the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Saddique Abubakar, will be meeting with Air Officers Commanding Operational Commands, as well as the Commander of the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole.

According to the statement, the Chief of Air Staff will also meet with Air Component Commanders of the various Theatres of Operations across the Country “to work out strategies for enhancing NAF’s support for all Internal Security Operations”.

This was coming after the Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI dispelled bandits’ attacks on Kurechi and Qurzan Maikuka Villages of Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The statement disclosed that “this occurred when a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Agusta 109E (M) helicopter, which was providing close air support to troops of the Land Component operating West of Gusau in Zamfara State, was redirected to Kurechi and Qurzan Maikuka following reports of an armed bandits’ attack on civilians at the two communities.

“The helicopter arrived the scene and engaged the bandits, neutralizing some of them while few others escaped with injuries. Thus, the 2 communities were rescued as a result of the operation.”

Apologies for not replying on time, someone how busy and carried away by good news coming from Yobe theatre.
Sometimes it takes time to reply especially when comment has been skipped to a new page.

Now to your question; Now the ex-service/military men and women are called Nigeria legion. And of recent a newly Corp was formed which is still under the Nigerian legion(ex-service men) called Nigerian legion corps of commissionaires
This newly created corps comprises of young men/women and some few experienced ex-service men which are hired by state and private organization for policing and other security dities. And have seen them with semi automatic rifles/pump actions.
