9jaRealist: Ghana carried out 68,591 tests. Maybe you think the excuses you are trying to make are relevant. They are not because our neighbour has showed more seriousness than us. |

TheGoodJoe: This government are just deceiving themselves with lockdown. Which lockdown? It's FAKE! All the abokis in my areas that travelled to their hometown kano to farm like 2 months plus ago, just came back this past weekend all the way from Kano, where did they pass, how manage they take enter, did they use magic to fly or what? All the thieves roaming around Lagos in largge numbers of 10, 20, 30s , 50s robbing people with weapons, where did they pass, and the government says there is lockdown? Which type of lockdown is that? The government is only deceiving themselves, not me 1 Like |

MainJoe: Why stop at Ghana? Why not add the UK and even the US? South Korea perhaps?! SMH Point is that we are ramping up from a very low (in fact, non-existent) base, and that’s a GOOD thing... There’s a well-worn saying that doing BETTER is ALWAYS a good thing, and perfection should never be the enemy of the good. Anyway, this has become an increasingly tedious rigmarole... If you are determined to remain CHAINED to the past, feel free to have at it Hoss. Time to move on to more productive discourse. > |

TheManOfTheYear: Lagos Mainland = All of Lagos State MINUS all the Island Areas (Lagos Island, Obalende, VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, Epe) Lagos Mainland LGA = All the way from Adekunle LCH estate area, that place before you climb to link 3rd mainland bridge, all through Redeem HQ side to Oyingbo, to Apapa road to Costain to the West, then Mainland Hotel to Iddo to the South, then Willoughby, Glover, Herbert Macaulay to the East all the way to Makoko, Alagomeji, Sabo, Agnes, all the inner areas to the outward parts at Muritala Muhammed Way, even Railway Compund sef join am By the way, all of you on the Lagos mainland needs to RESPECT Lagos Mainland LGA. Dem no be any other LGA papa mate. LAGOS MAINLAND LGA is the COOLEST LGA in Lagos Mainland, without Lagos Mainland LGA nobody can link any part of Lagos Island without jumping inside water......... argue with your keyboard |

9jaRealist: Continue talking past when presently, our actions are still too slow. Have the NCDC thought about doing sample tests in other States to check if there is a growing spread when it is proven that lots of spread come from asymptomatic carriers? They want to wait for symptoms and you want me to clap for their mediocrity. 1 Like |

MainJoe: Stuck on Strawman Arguments... Point was/is (and will continue to be) that Nigeria has ramped-up testing... It has gone from 0 labs at end-February to 12 labs in mid-April and counting. It has gone from inability to test for Covid domestically to quadrupled capacity... It is currently testing more samples daily than it previously did weekly a few weeks ago. Doing BETTER is ALWAYS a good thing... Perfection should never be the enemy of the good. > |

CsRockefeller:My able Honorable, this Coronavirus we are talking about. Early decisions save lives My own early decision was 2 things: #1 Never Rely on Government for Anything --------- because DISAPPOINTMENT is their middle name. The Federal Disappointment Government of Nigeria, F[D]GN #2 Enter Matrix, Carry my matter go meet the people on the other side of Life, to the Council of Gods that rule the Universe, to the ancient Ones that formed the world with one breath. I don go lie down beg Jehovah, put my life and that of my loved ones for his hands, collect his Mercy before i come back here to this 6D world. |

Openbusiness: Your indignation is laudable however it is not factual. The UCL infectious diseases centre in London is located in Gower street, bang in the middle of a very busy area of london frequented by tourists and university students. I know because I went to university there. Even if an infectious disease centre is located in sambisa, people still have to get there. No infectious disease centre can control what happens outside its gate, what they can control are the processes that minimize infection including pickup, testing admission processing, treatment, visitation ( almost zero) convalescence and discharge and post discharge care. This drum you are beaten is broken but you will bang it anyway. Goodluck. Enjoy. 1 Like |

MainJoe: Not even your darling Ghana is testing enough to “curtail the spread”... Not even the world’s richest-ever country or other advanced countries - US, UK, France, Italy, Spain, etc. Again, quit blathering on with your childish Strawman Argument... Nobody is “celebrating” anything. My post merely noted that testing has been ramped-up, leading to a better picture. PS: Again, if you insist on obdurately regurgitating childish drivel, then have it hoss. Sounds like you enjoy misery. SMH. > |
