Good day nairalanders. Was given admission last year into one of our Great federal Nigerian Institutions to study med-Lab science. Was not to keen on studying med-Lab tho! I just wanted to be in the medical field. Showed my uncle who is a practicing radiographer at UPTH my admission letter tho he was happy for me but he immediately started directing me to change my course immediately to his profession saying how lucrative it was, with many opportunities ND all that. Even promised to direct me in d course as an elder in the field saying I could travel out to many countries such as the UK or Saudi Arabia ND still excel.Told my parents about it and dey saw nothing wrong nd even supported him in the change of course. Now I'm in 200L radiography and I just want to know if this Course was the right track

Your Uncle has already decided for you, what course you should study, now you also want Nairalanders to advice you if it's a good decision or not. As in... You really don't know what you want to become in life? Please, who's paying your tuition?

I'm sorry, but honestly I don't think Med-Lab or Radiography is a good course for you at the moment with the way things are going in this country.
I think Photography would you best for you.

They are both good courses to the little of my knowledge

They are both professional courses...you establish with them on your own...

Do Wat makes u happy.
There is no right course, there is no wrong course. My advice is for u to look at urself, tell urself Wat u want and do it.
Weda u do it or not, u will shoulder all the aftermath burden so choose ur passion. If u later failed in Radiobla bla, ur uncle won't be there, u will feel the pain more and by then, u may be too old to start afresh, one way to be successful is to be happy
U can study anything and still make it in life.
