It seems like he already knew the truth but just wanted to carry in like nothing was happening.

When she got pregnant, she should have disappeared at that point knowing that the baby can't possibly be his... And he stood by her all through the pregnancy to birth..

No matter what the man has done, he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment. I wish he visited a therapist for this instead of taking his life.

He couldn't go and get tested, wasn't sleeping with his wife but supported her through pregnancy?! Is he Joseph? Or she's Mary?? Nonsense!!

He was more concerned about what people thought of him, his 'Man of God' status and the answer to his prayers.

He knew he was sick, he knew God hadn't answered his prayers, he knew she cheated but he would have gone with it anyway.

His reason for the suicide wasn't because the child wasn't his, it was because everyone else now knew that God hadn't answered him.

Amen my sister. Me of all people understand the rigmarole of infertility having experienced it at close range. My uncle and his wife didn't have their daughter until their eleventh year together...oh boy, It was a journey!

If you noticed, I wasn't beefing her for trying outside, my beef was about leading him on after. She allowed him nurtured her pregnancy, get attached to the baby, break it to him after several month via a phone call and had some much "remorse" by way of her attitude after learning of his demise. That woman is a stone cold hearted human. You dont want your family messing with her!

If what the woman says is true about him not touching her, then he knew the child wasn't his. He should have discussed it with her, let both parties know how it was going to work to avoid stories that touch like this.

And I will agree the woman is no saint, there's the mention of the new guy also satisfying her in bed. But see when couples fight sometimes , they fight dirty and say hurtful things. Sometimes they mean them, sometimes they don't. Hey, that's life. We do the best we can and hope everything turns alright. Nobody is innocent really but when we feel the chips are down, we just need to take a breather first and time will do the magic. It's sad he had to go like that. And the woman will have to live with her conscience.

Again, anything is possible. Like I read earlier here, it may not be the shock of finding out that drove him to suicide, it might be many other things. It could be the shame of having people find out. Or depression from losing the child he already loves so much. It could even be that he trusted his wife so much and never knew she could ever have the heart to leave him. It could be that he considered a woman walking away from him the worst thing ever on earth. Many possibilities.

We will never really know because there are no witnesses. Only God knows, sister. He will judge eveyone accordingly.

This is Nigeria, therapy is not easily accessible, especially to someone who probably resides in a rural setting. I am so pained! This woman is so damn wicked! Why didn't she walk away in the first instance? Cannot even imagine what the man went through
