Policemen went to his house and interrogated them all one after another.

Gateman: I be dey sleep for my gateman house as I work over night then for my sleep I hear as the housemaid dey shout. Na him I wake up. I come run enter main house come see say my Oga body dey for ground for him own blood.

The policemen laughed and arrested the murderer.

The wife said the maid called her while she was partying with her friends, if you're referring to gsm here in 1992, the tori get k leg. The boy too, was playing PS4 in the next hood, and his phone rang too another k leg. Now let's assume it happened in 2020.
The wife seem to fit in.

The boy was away with his friends in the next building.
Certainly knowing this facts, the wife then sent the maid an errand, and was sure the gateman does not have any business outside his post unless invited. Then the the wife killed her husband and left for the party to establish an alibi.
This is my idea, could be anyone. I personally would want all their alibis checked, as well as who the major beneficiary would be. These could help more to ascertain the killer. But with this simple facts, it points to the wife.

The gateman was worked overnight so he was asleep. Who then opened the gate for everyone who left the house? Surely the madam wouldn't open the gate for herself and I'm pretty sure she drove.
