Nothing is irreplaceable, even nobody, lost my dad 2003, since then I've been the ones fending for my siblings, mum remarried and relocate to meet her hubby, I had to pause school after my diploma cause my imidate was in second year in the uni, all bills on me, to the glory of God he's now serving, we're living better life, now I've commenced my HND!
I will love to have your contact bro. It won't be now but trust me, when you least expect, I will Greece your account just to say thanks on behalf of your siblings. Do you know why? Because life is so unpredictable, these same siblings can still turn against you in future when they have more than you and they will forget the things you had to go through just for their sake and happiness

Have u ever lost someone so dear to u that causes tears to roll down ur eyes each time u remember him or her?

Mine was David.
David was my classmate in JS 1. The most handsome, and one of those brilliant students in my class. David was loved by everyone in the class because of his childish nd joyous attitude. Though initially those attitude created enmity among the two of us our frndship started the day he saved me from being flogged by our nasty maths teacher who gave me a maths problem that I couldn't solve. Since that day we became great frnds nd we were always seen sitting next to each other in class nd working together during compound work. Our frndship was so serious that some teachers thought we were siblings. David was brilliant, selfless, handsome nd childish nd I loved him like a brother. In summary, David died the same week our exams was about starting. He was hit by a reckless lorry driver on his way to his dad's provisions shop. He died on the spot nd rumour has it that b4 he gave up the ghost he muttered the following words, "my dream of becoming a doctor has ended". And since then av always wanted to become a doctor 4 David but the Nigerian factor destroyed that dream. Till today I still remember my brilliant nd selfless frnd whose bright future was cut short by a drunk driver.

Pls I'm sorry 4 the long post nd some of the errors you'll notice. David died exactly on the 25th of April, that's why I brought up this topic. Pls share ur own.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Nigeria has killed many dreams indeed.

August 2018 still remains in my memory, Chike Melvin left this sinful world..
We had great plans together, we call each other leader anytime we gist or call, but that day I started seeing several messages from my department WhatsApp page, I thought it was the normal chatting and throwing of jibes, didn't know my Dept mates were mourning my very own Chike.
I ignored the messages and logged in to nairaland, there it was on nairaland's front page about some group of corpers that drown in Taraba while on a picnic, I quickly dialed Chike's number, it was switched off, went on WhatsApp to check the messages on the group, there it was, Chike was no more cry cry

I shouted, threw myself up and started hitting the walls, I was uncontrollable, none of our neighbours could console me, my mom also shed tears when she got to know what happened..I cried my eyes out.

Continue to rest in peace leader, I still feel bad anytime I check my gallery and see several of our pictures together.
Rest on Chike

Mine was my Mom who died after my delivery. I was told she was one of the best humans God created on earth. She can go out of her ways to make others happy. I thank God for all the family members and hubby He's given me. I still believe if she was alive, I would have been a better person. I'm still crying after 30 years

My elder brothers first children ,a set of twins. The first died almost immediately after birth, then the second died after some weeks, he was so cute, I cried like crazy.....

We used to be 4 in my family but now we are 2. Just I the last born and the first born left.
The 3rd born was brought home from school in his final year (physics with electronics DPT) with an unforeseen illness. Several test was conducted nothing was found to be wrong. Family spent a lot he was just becoming lean. The day before he died he asked me to prepare noodles for him, he asked me to do it in a way of which I didn't do it, that night we had a lil quarrel not knowing that was the last time I was going to see him. He was rushed to the hospital midnight and that was it, he never came back to that house and I never got to say sorry cry cry cry cry. He was the most handsome in the family and the brain.

3yrs after my sister the second born and the only girl, who was the bread winner at that time, sponsoring my secondary education at that time also took ill , the same as my brother. Several test from different doctors showed nothing was wrong with her. We spent a lot , prayed nothing changed. At this time I was learning computerized automobile engineering in lekki total feeling station beside ShopRite. So we do see money a lot. My sister and the family went to camp but I could not because of work. When I get my salary I'll go to ShopRite buy a lot of things for my mum and sick sister. The first Sunday of our camp my sister asked me to get her some thing's when I'm coming to camp the next Sunday, unfortunately that week I could not get enough money so that Sunday I was coming with the excuse that I could not get anything but that I'll make sure I get it for her the next Sunday. Getting to the place we lodge ,I entered the room saw her bed empty and my mum beside the bed crying and some people comforting her....

Everyday I think about them and for their sake and my parents I just know I will and must make it in this life so as to do what they would have done for my parents... cry cry
Brother, your family need serious prayers cos these deaths are not ordinary. You need toughen yourself spiritually

You didn't give any advice to normalize such situations any advice

My advice is, when u see something that doesn't look normal happen to u rise up. I'm a Christian so I can only advice u in the Christian way. Call God to such a situation nd you'll see him taking over. Thanks nd stay blessed.

My wife . She passed on 3 years ago. I have never in my life been with a person so dedicated and committed to me and my cause . She passed away after an unsuccessful surgery . The pain hasn't diminished and the memories are still raw
Till now family be pressuring my arse to remarry but in my mind , who's gonna fill her space?

Most of our women aren't really thinking of the long term and only interested in the immediate things they can smash ,grab and vanish away with.
If you find someone who really loves you. Never let them go away. True Commitment and love are so rare These days it's almost impossible to find
so sorry sir. Please take heart bro

O so sorry Sis.

I've shed some tears for you and all others here.

[b]I think the worst thing for me is a person knowing him/her is dying and crying to stay alive. I'm broken for you Sis.[\b]

Death is indeed the worst enemy.
Honestly, that part really got me.

My dad ,he passed December 2011.I was right beside him when he passed.I was confused .He had prepared me for his death while he has on admission .He kept telling me he could hear a bell and someone wearing white cloth .He would wake me up at night in the hospital and ask me if I could hear the bell.Of course i could not. It was his time and God kept calling him gradually.

I did not cry that day at the hospital but the day he was buried I cried uncontrollably. I Stood at one spot until all the sand was poured over his grave. He remains the only man who has ever loved me unconditionally. And I miss him everyday .Ever since he passed Christmas has never meant anything to me again.
He is a brave Man.

And he's resting peacefully now.

Lost my mum December 2003. It still feels like yesterday. I remember telling her the final time I saw her at hospital that I was going to visit her again as soon as I was done with 1st term exams, as I was in Jss 3. She was transferred to a hospital outside town. School vacated on Friday, I was really happy that at least I could have enough time to stay with her, I didn’t know she already died in the early hours of that Friday. I love you mum. I miss the mother figure daily. Rest on!

She died on 19th on April 2017
I was with her at the hospital when she died... I was looking at her when she stop breathing,,, I was looking at her chest just praying, hoping to see it move up and down but nothing happened, I remember trekking home from the hospital which was almost 5miles to my home, crying on the way.
My mother, you will forever remain in my heart, till we meet again.
