I sold my car just before the lockdown in Lagos State with the hope of buying a new car in a few days but unfortunately the lockdown happened and it became difficult for me to buy a car since I won't be able to inspect it personally.
So since then, I have been jumping bike up and down, and one recently threw me into a drainage due to his reckless riding. Work has been slow cuz I can't attend meetings that are far from my office. It's so annoying to say the least.

Luckily for me, I have successfully purchased the car with all the papers complete with the help of a police officer and an old friend but the issue now is bringing it down to Ondo state through the notorious Lagos to Benin road.

I spoke to a driver about it and he explained how police have been showing them Pepe on that road since lockdown.

I just can't take it anymore. Someone should please suggest to me how I can get this car to Ondo state. And if you're a police officer that can escort a driver to Ondo without issues, I'm willing to pay you to do this for me.

Your best bet is to move at night out of Lagos till you get to Ibadan toll gate. From there you can move during the day and passing through Ife expressway where you'll surely have to bribe policemen... Then off to Ondo

The main problem in the journey is how to leave Lagos and Ogun, ones he could escape those men there then it is certain he would get to Ondo.
No need adding two other states(Osun and Ibadan) that is like incurring more stress, fuel wastage and additional monetary tips for security officers.

Lagos ore road is filled with road blocks whether you pass morning, afternoon or night. The road is also a den of fulani herdsmen disguished as thieves especially close to tasued.
I have transversed the road at 4am severally the only caution i will give is ensure car doesnt break at wee hours because 90% of okada moving at that time are highway robbers

Your best bet is using a policeman or soldier to get it across to your destination as long as the pay is good.

That Ibadan journey sound long but it’s the best bet since Oyo state and Osun state is not in total lockdown. Once you reach Ibadan thank your star... If you go try Ore road this time, I pray it works out because the road is normally swimming of police checkpoints... But you can bribe your way in Oyo and Osun state since there is no total lockdown in the 2 states

Try Leaving Lagos By 11pm Or 12am Midnight. But First Drive Towards Mowe During The Late Afternoon Or Early Evening And Park At A Filling Station Waiting For Midnight. Once Its Past 11 Drive Off, The Only Checkpoint U Will See Is After Shagmu, At Ijebu Ode, Ore And Some Other Strategic Location. I will advise you move around 12pm, from my travel experience, police/road safety officer/customs don't stay on the road in hot afternoon, even if they are there it won't be serious checking. Pass through Ikorodu come out in Ìjẹ̀bú òde, pass inside town then come out in Ìjẹ̀bú Igbo which is closer to Ondo state, you will only meet less check points
