otokx:It's okay if you can get below 1.80 and it's NOT jijo. It got to over N2 before coming down again. They're paying 20k dividend. The FA/TA gurus have better answer. NB: This is purely my opinion. Mr. Market have the altimate answer. |

Mpeace:What about the unbundling stuff? Any info on it? I'll rather say they tied people's money down with the proposed unbundling. I bought that time too, expecting mouth watering "unbundling hope", had to sell at loss and move away. 1 Like |

Mpeace: I think people should stop looking for tips and start doing some of the heavy lifting in reading up about these companies and their stocks themselves. If you are asking for specific information about a company, i guess that's okay but this trend of "Is company A a good stock to invest in?" just tire me. And people actually answer without understanding the person's investment goals, level of financial literacy and type of cash at the persons disposal. Tomorrow gbas gbos go full thread. 12 Likes 3 Shares |

CashDiMkpa:Well said! Guess you referred to me here as well. Well, i noticed that you people stopped replying enquiries here. The experts are nowhere to be found, they thus resorted to asking the person available. I think you people should come back! When they ask, you can always answer them professionally and give more direction when one person err or is going off lane. Keeping silent and ignoring them cos they're new to the system is not too good as far as I'm concerned. You guys started from somewhere too. No need to wait to condemn someone else's good intention. This is my view of the situation of things here. 29 Likes |

CashDiMkpa:I'm very sure most of you stayed at the sideline looking and waiting for issues to come up so you could pass blame, rather than step in to assist or even issue cautions. I saw only Uncle kolaish doing this few weeks ago. Your fellow gurus will come out to support and give you 'likes' but they were nowhere to be found when these people needed answers to their enquiries or needed proper guidance. Leaving the 'work' to very few people, and even to me that is less experienced among you here. Someone mentioned that hope we wouldn't weary Pa Emma and Oga Oracle cos you left only the two of them to be doing the 'talking' here most of the time. Anyway, just feel like replying you ni. Make Una no worry, Mcy too is thinking of moving to ghost mode. 10 Likes |

Mcy56:I made my comment partly because of the bolded. Some analyst here would highlight a stock and reserve details of their reasons. But they would not comeback to tell when they changed their minds on the stock, forgetting that many newbies, relying on their earlier highlights, must have made reasonable investments on those stocks believing the "promoter" to have equally keyed in. Latter na regrets go follow and you will hear the promoter saying things like "I bailed out(secretly) last year at... with tesere profit" meanwhile the newbie continue to suffer in losses. 7 Likes |

Madam, please do not feel discouraged by anyone. You are doing well and those you quoted have indirectly contributed to the discourse. It is now left for the newbies to look deep and pitch their tent where it best suits them. What advice will I give to anyone again? My average costs in UBA, UCAP, ZENITH, UPL are still far from today's' prices. let them keep buying the dividend-paying stocks. Mcy56: 10 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by CashDiMkpa: 1:09pm On Apr 29, 2020 |
Mcy56: @bolded...Not really Madam. I was referring more to the those who want to be told invest in coy A or coy B. The assistance you offer go beyond that including directing oldies and newbies on how to pursue dividend matters with registrars etc. Even me, when i am trying to stay away from the market for some days i just look for your price trend updates intermittently..so keep it up. I have also seen you refer people to go and start reading from the beginning of the thread or start from past pages and I think that is the way to go. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Mpeace: Exactly. They tell you when its time to buy but don't tell you when its time to sell. In the mini bull of December/January I remember some people, me inclusive, requested Oracle to signal when its time to bail out and he did. But those who may not understand the fundamentals of stock investment, and the up and down movement started abusing the poor guy; calling him a harbinger of bad news. The rest is now history. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Uchetoba: Well, this is ur opinion. However, the average folks here will not take a drunk as serious as they take one with body odour or fufu smell, though they all should be avoided. FINALLY ON THIS ISSUE, THE BIBLE CALLS EVERY UNRIGHTNESS, "SIN" John 5:17 King James Version (KJV) All unrighteousness is sin: ... The final questions are these: IS IT RIGHT TO SMELL LIKE FUFU, WHEN YOU WOULD HAVE WASHED? IS IT RIGHT TO SMELL LIKE SWEAT WHEN YOU WOULD HAVE BATH OR WASHED YOUR CLOTHES? IS IT RIGHT TO DRINK BEER WHEN RICE, CORN, ETC ALSO CONTAIN ALCOHOL? |

rebekah2011: Flat Result. Ok in nominal terms but impact of cost of regulation and regulatory risks are apparent. Loans and Advance grew by 44% but interest income declined by 6%. Impairment charges almost doubled. Opex grew by 14%. Net commission and fees dropped by 28%. Trading income almost doubled but not sustainable as their stock of treasury bills dropped by 20%. They can't match this type of volume/income relationship from the new stock of tbills on offer. So we watch and begin to moderate expectations for 2020. 6 Likes |
