Please go through this from IRCC after consulting them for delayed study visa applicatiin..BVL Recieved on the 17th of April for Feb 28th 2nd application....it means decision is taken already once BVL is recieved, but why the delay, but there is nothing God cannot do.

Hello Qudkom,

Hope you keeping safe and been a while. However, a personally owned/father/mother/family company has no red flag of what sort. Maybe only on the grounds of financial strength or capacity of the company that may tend to be the red flag. And using the company letterhead has nothing to do with the funds but a supportive way to demonstrate an active/reliable source of funds. Keep staying safe bro.

One love!
Yes I know using a company account can be used for a visa application but it can't be solely depended on. I have also seen gcms notes making comments on the use of Company funds for sponsorship. That is why I always advice the use of company account and the personal savings account of the sponsor also. Therefore, the company account shows a proof of employment on the part of the sponsor and the savings account/fixed deposit etc shows the personal savings that's available to sponsor the applicant. Cheers and stay safe bro.

Qudkom, thanks for the response.

Yes u are correct, actually am not purchasing it yet, I jz want to enquire about what Frankrobbn said about showing funds for FLIGHT ITINERARY in a post here sometime ago

But I would love to know if its compulsory/necessary to show the funds available for that or not.

If YES, am i going to talk about the funds available for TO & FRO flight or jz the funds for the TO (Departure Flight)

All this for the Essence of POF in SOP

Thanks
No you don't need to show a separate proof of your ability to buy a travel ticket. Everything is aggregated in your proof of funds.

Hello Lekiboboe,

It nice meeting your acquaintance. Thus, it is not mandatory or necessary to show funds for your travel itinerary but if its intended, just for One-Way will suffice. However, it can be demonstrated.

All the best
Thanks JustMellow,

Your response is well appreciated and noted

Hi everyone, I wanna seek the opinion of the experienced ones, please.

I got a study leave approval from my company.

I just want to ask, is submitting a study leave approval not a red flag to the vo. I'm going for a 2years master's program.

Please help with your insight

No it is actually a good proposition that you have a job waiting for you after your program in Canada. Also a good home tie especially if the salary and benefit is competitive. So if it's a salary range of 300/400k upwards then it's good.

N.b: It is always nice if the leave letter is from a reputable and verifiable organization.

Thank you very much. To be honest, I don't know the extent of the verification you are talking about. By my guess, nnpc, shell, federal govt jobs and others are definitely verifiable. But I ain't working with any of those. However, this company is registered with CAC and they have online profile. Does that clicked into the description of being 'verifiable'

Hey Guys,

I hope you are staying safe out there,I am making this post for my younger sis. That was denied study visa recently. Kindly see the denial letter details below.

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial asset.

She is a recent graduate that just finished her Nysc last year .Guys please do you think she should reapply. I will also like to mention she has two biological sisters in Canada specifically Calgary and that’s where the school she is attend is located.

Thanks in Advance.

The rate of response at which they are sending out update of BVL after application is very short these days. It seems not many people are applying at the moment. Their workload is somehow dropping. The Chinese students who used to be their focus are backing out and loosing interest in international education / study due to communists party policies regarding their students going abroad to srudy at this pandemic moment, therefore it seems these days Eligibility is now completed in 7 days. Mind you the profile would still indicate application under processing or review of eligibility on going, all na bobo.

Imagine IRCC is responding to application after 7 to 10 days in form of correspondence letter/ BVL.

I think they are just sending the BVL to buy time and as not to discourage majority from sending their applications. We have a lots of applicants still expecting either approval or refusal. How long could they hide this final note. I am in more than four Canada study visa group, Nigerians take the lead amongst study permit application at yhe moment. Others sucj as indians, Pakistanis, Iran and Chinese are waiting for global easing or elimination of lockdown. Almost all our clients have gotten bvl why? Decision were already made, they are just buying time. And only God can reverse it. Just pray to get +ve response after your BVL. Believe in Jehiaval and He would help you out.

A guy applied last month and on the second day he did his biometric, then the 3rd day he got BVL. What is that? Did they even go through his application at all, nil.

I told mist of my clients to hold on for now. These people prefer Indians and Chinese than black africans.
You may still continue to apply, your luck may suffice but pray harder.

Thanks. My experience though.
Only God knows.

I also applied for her GCMS file and this was their reason.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Luckymama: 11:13pm On Apr 30, 2020
Or could it be that the BVL is an automatic update that’s sent when your file is opened and attended to? BVL without any updates on eligibility or background check seems strange. Especially when it is coming a few days or weeks after submission.

Or the Nairobi guys just want to keep guessing since it appears we are decoding them? Anyhow sha eventually result will come out.

They don't. Are you telling they went through an application and decide in just a day even before biometric was conducted.

Because the same IRCC says the time it takes to give biometric is not part of the processing time, yet a decision was made even before the same compulsory biometric was done for my clients.

We have seen a lot here. I have packaged an application for client and we felt all is well based on experience, the guy was just too hot to be refused, but guys he was bastardly refused grin these people know what they are doing. They need our application fees from Africa and the rests of the world. Mostly africas while they grant 1 in every 30 applicant according to a research. But, usually grant study visa to the white counterparts or whoever they wish.

No expert or perfect application I tell you.
