It seems the Bank is all out to make up the loss it experienced from this COVID-19.

Who else was also penalised by GTB.

Well, I was also charged for maintenance, but mine was just #23.

They are now deducting the money given to FG from innocent customers.

Access Bank is doing the same thing. Their fb page, as I type, is overloaded with complaints about one dubious withdrawal or the other.
Almost every institution/agency does this in Nigeria knowing full well they will always get away with murder. No consequences/penalty for bad behaviour.

Prior to Monday when you'll go in person to the bank. You can mail them with a screenshot of the alert and ask for a revert of your money.

#150 for SMS charges, but I put #1,600,000 as Fixed deposit and got #500 as interest.

These people are out to make as much money as they can from there customers.

Please does anyone know any reasonable bank smbodi can bank with, I dropped fidelity cause they are another useless lots. My account with fidelity was dormant for a year. The day I put money into that account they subtracted all the bank charges, ATM chargesr, text message charges etc I have been owing them for the year. Totalling almost #5000.
