[quote author=NextD18 post=89168849]Just imagine! Even with the high rate of Coronavirus cases in their state. Truth is; Lagos is arguably the state with the most insane, ignorant and careless people in the world. When it comes to civility, comportment and courteousness, 90% of Lagosians cannot cope in sane and calm cities like Abuja, PH, Owerri, Asaba and some Northern cities. Very anyhow set of rascal people quick to form porsh hiding under the slogan "I dey Lag". Smh! To an extent, people living in Onitsha and Aba are way more civilized, careful and comported than them when it comes to security and health.[/quote] Total crap. My guess is you didn't go to school 5 Likes 1 Share |

adewumiopeyemi: and what will happen? your dead bodies littering the street prophecy? do you know that breathing stale air causes hypoxia? guess you never heard of it. breathing through a face mask for prolong periods causes hypoxia, its even worse for persons with bad breath. you re just eager to swallow and vomit every -ve thing you hear in the news, ignoring stats on treatments and discharge of infected. you should be thinking of a post covid era, and not a covid civilization. |

The solution to people not wearing face-masks is to not allow anyone without a face-mask to enter the bank. The solution to crowding is to charge an entry fee. Those who don't need to be there will leave immediately. If charging an entry fee is not acceptable, people can be made to line up along the road where there's more space. 6 Likes 8 Shares |

History is repeating it's self.Similar plague, same approach and same reactions...the result will be the same. Instead of being proactive we hear things like "Strange disease killing in Kano" at this time of Covid. Humans complained about the Economy and Freedom to move then too.It is a trade, immediate economic relief for eventual infection with high possibility of death. Stay strong people;Winter is coming! #kingofhearts. |

For those of us who do not get the memo, the only way social distancing will work in Nigeria is for the country to shutdown. 60 years of not building infrastructure and developing alternative transportation systems have made it such that there is only one medium. The state has also refused harmonize and sanitize the road transportation system. Bad road networks have also compounded the issues. Add that to the population explosion occasioned by urban migration as a result of a refusal of the federal government to develop other regions, u have a city that was built and made to be very impossible for social distancing. It will not and not going to work. People will resume activities and isolate as they can. Herd immunity will solve our problems or people will drop dead and die in millions. The world will move on effectively. It has seen worse deaths before. 2 Likes |
