UyaiIncomparabl:

Have you lost your cognitive ability? It's understandable to even a 12-year old.
Just when I thought Uyai is a changed and now a calm person, she decided to exhibit what she was known for.

I understand everything narrated in the thread.

What is hard to believe is how a housewife was able to build a house worth more than 15million (Engineers please correct me) with the savings she made from monthly up keep money.

Certain details would be useful for me to believe the story.

1) For how long are they married, and for how many years has the man be giving her monthly upkeep money?

2) How much on the average does her husband give to her monthly?

3) What percentage of what was giving to her was she saving.

Unfortunately, the story wasn't posted here by the woman that built the house nor by someone close to her, it was lifted from another social media platform. So my questions can't be answered.

Bottom line is that I don't believe she built the house solely from upkeep money.

Same way Abacha (wife) robbed Nigeria (husband); years later Nigeria got into trouble (sacked) and now the same fund Abacha stole decades ago has now become a life saver for Nigeria.

Congratulationsss Abacha!!! You're a good wife!!

This is the same way women steal and cheat on their spouse without getting caught.

And btw, goodbye to the "trust" in that relationship, if there was any at all.

Take several seats, please. Evil people will always have something different to say. That was a smart move from the woman and you people have failed to see that. How she pulled the funds is just the bone of contention now, to you "bad belles".

There in lies a smart and productive woman, but you people will see things differently. If she hadn't saved and had used the man's whole earnings to purchase all manners of human hairs and material jargons, you men would've still called her a waster, unproductive and a bad wife. Humans are insatiable after all.

And what brought stealing and cheating to the story? At least, she showed the husband the house and acknowledged using his money, what excuse have you again?

Okay.

1. Why do you think it's hard for a house wife to build a house out of the proceeds her husband churns out?

See. There are some housewives who collect hefty amounts as welfare money from their husbands. Do you live with them to know how much this man has and gives her as monthly upkeep? You'll be shocked. It's very possible to have saved alot from his extravagance.

2. Refer to the first paragraph. It could be thousands of nairas and even at that still have some miscellaneous money follow suit.

3. You're still asking the same question. I know a former boss in Alaba who used to give his wife like 300K as monthly food money, clothes and other material miscellaneous money never follow o. And that woman has two houses in Enugu.

In regards to your last paragraph, do with the story you were given and let whatever that follows be inconsequential. She built the house and that's end of story.

Keep kwayet, lousy teenager!

Like I said, Abacha is equally smart and productive.

While you have your eyes fixed on money, some of us see beyond money. We see betrayal, we see a snake, a corny thief. How can you even hide such a thing from a man you sleep with everyday?! Mehn, the men in your life may deal, but I can't.

It would be far more impressive if she used savings from her own salary/business to build the house, then still made the man feel like a king by showing it to him after he lost his job.
Now that would be a woman truly worth more than rubies. grin

There are women out here who have used loans from their jobs (paid back little by little directly from their salaries) to build houses and buy cars...and if you didn't investigate, you'd think it was their husbands doing it all.

The one in the OP gets commendation for effort, but I truly don't see how what she has done should be overemphasized.

When it comes down to the point, it's her husband's money she used to accomplish the feat...she's just a very good manager, not a proprietor.
