Topsic70: Bruv, no disrespect but learned Yorubas should not do summary judgment and execution. Igbos, even PhD holders, do it as second nature and I find it irritating as f.uck. An Igbo will write here about how the SE need to take seriously current poverty index that shows all is not well with the region and IPOBian ret.ards, rather than face the topic, will all respond monotonously shouting "Afonja". A whole thread debased to the idiotic level of ignoring the topic to just shout ignorantly about "Afonja" and "Yerooba skull miners" when Igbos really need to be looking at themselves and the serious problems their people are facing. Do we Yorubas want to act like that? No. Because of that, and the initial civil tone of OP, I checked the claim. Ikere LGA exist and Idemo is listed as a ward of it. Use the link below and click "by electoral ward". Scroll down to Ikere and keep scrolling till you see the Ikere with Idemo as it's ward. It is there and spelled as she claims. Guys you may know her history and I don't want to get into that but I am not comfortable with what appears a witch hunt given that her LGA and ward checks out. I see Igbos doing this daily, labeling Igbokwe etal 'efulefu', and I just don't think it is something we should get into. We'd be no better than them doing that and considering that Yorubas did not get the tag of "progressive" and "sophisticated" for nothing. Igbos can be learned but still savages as we see here daily. That is why no Nigerian has ever called them progressive, liberal or sophisticated. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_villages_in_Ekiti_State 3 Likes |

Grayoso: Nigeria is poverty capital of the world, home of terrorism in Africa and an all round failure. There is nothing in Nigeria worth celebrating. We are not one, never have been and never will be. The only difference is that while some want to continue with the fraud called 'one Nigeria', Igbos fought to get out of the fraud. 3 Likes |

letu: Lol. Igbos always living in denial. Who is the real slaves of Fulani if not Igbos who have settled for being VP to Fulani in 2023 whereas Yorubas have made it clear we must have the Presidency? Ask yourself why El Rufai who was hawkish in claiming the North should produce the 2023 President has now done a U-turn to state decisively that power must return to the south in 2023 for the sake of "equity". You think he made that claim on behalf of Igbos or because he is positioning himself to be VP to a Yoruba candidate in 2023 after being whipped into line about who the North must support in the next General election? You guys, if you had any sense or depth, should be in a corner crying over why the North always show total and casual disregard for you Igbos whereas the Yorubas are the ethnic group they always make concessions for. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Grayoso: How will you feel if you see an igbo guys, opening a thread about Yoruba future plans?? We often made a mistake of siding with enemies who came to spy and trick us. The case of Alimi and Afonja came to mind. The OP isn't not Yoruba, so she doesn't have the right to ask of the Yorubas their plans. A Yoruba is not the one who does not recognizes the religion of her fellow Yoruba. A Yoruba is not a person who Hate her fellow Yoruba because of religion. You can't just open a thread and expect us to be telling you our secrets Go through her posts and see her hatred. Guy/Girl, Abeq, stop defending her. If you open a thread tomorrow for Pan Yoruba group , we'll have to check your post history. There are many impostors here. 6 Likes 1 Share |

jacksonkennedy... WHAT THE YORUBAS WANT IS WHAT THE YORUBAS ARE. ODU-DU-WA IS OMO OLO-DU-MARE. OMO-LU-A-BI IS SON OF ODU-DU-WA AND GRANDSON OF OLO-DU-MARE. YORUBA IS THEREFORE A SAVIOUR. SO WHEN YOU ACT, INTERACT AND MOVE LIKE OMO-LU-A-BI, YOU'RE IN REALITY ANOINTED ODU-DU-WA AND SAVED AS YORUBA. DITTO WHEN YOU FEEL, THINK AND REASON IN YOUR SPIRITS, LIKE OMO-LU-A-BI, YOU'RE SAVED AS YORUBA. AS TO WHERE WE ARE SO FAR ON THIS JOURNEY OF SOLDIERING ONWARDS, YORUBAS DON'T WANT 2023 UNLESS EITHER OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET 1, Osinbajo SHOULD REPLACE BUHARI AS PRESIDENT NOW OR BEFORE MAY 2021. AND ONLY RECONTEST IN 2023. 2, BUHARI SHOULD RESTRUCTURE TO GRANT FULL AUTONOMY OF POLICING RESOURCING AND ELECTIONEERING CONTROL TO OUR 36 CONSTITUTIONAL STATES IMMEDIATELY. |

orisa37: Bruv, why and how will this happen if Buhari remains alive and ostensibly fit for the job? Let us be pragmatic and critical in our thinking. Best for North to complete their 8 years and we get their support to replace Buhari. That is how it is done and that is how many influential Yorubas, the real warriors in the field, not commentators like me and you, are prosecuting our challenge, for many years now, to produce the 2023 President of Nigeria. |

In as much there's general apathy for secession among Yorubas.... I think we should be begin to think of a Yorubaland without nigeria or oil money..... Nigeria is a big fraud.....sooner or later, it will be exposed as a scam designed to be big but useless..... And when that happens, the centre will crumble and every region will have to chart it's own destiny independent of Abuja.... I'm afraid we may be the least prepared region if that happens today..... Yorubas will be treading a dangerous path if they become too obsessed with the nigerian project....just because of a possible yoruba president in 2023..... Nigeria was never designed to be a progressive country.... We made a big mistake fighting for its unity in the past... We shouldn't repeat the same mistake again.... 2 Likes |

Oladeji245: What you guys don't get is that, Either Apc or PDP, we have to work collectively as one. Alot of us have been awaken by our fellow Igbo brothers when they began hating us. Go and check 2011, thread, when Yorubas went to visit GoodLuck because they were not being given appointments. See the insults and hatred shown to us by Igbos. I and some Yorubas here don't care either party or not, anything against the interest of SW we will resist it and anything to promote the interest of SW, we will accept it. If Tinubu or so, has the interest of Yoruba, why won't I support my own people even if we're not in the same party. ? 1 Like |

Look at how the innocent Yoruba Christian girl was denied her origin, shouted down in her own thread and was made to realise that being pro Tinubu is mandatory before being accepted as Yoruba. 1 Like |

Oladeji245: You are so stubborn and impervious to the lessons of history that shapes mind. Aside the reality that Tinubu has moved Lagos forward immensely from what he met, and in spite of one of the most ridiculous population explosions in modern world history today, look at his effort for the entire SW. But for Tinubu it would be OBJ's gangster politics that would still be controlling the SW. You would have gangsters and killers becoming governors whereas Tinubu changed that status quote to deliver technocrats everywhere and usher in refined politicking that effectively put an end to the OBJ days of wanton assassinations and do-or-die politics that saw the SW labelled infamously as the "wild west". Google is your friend brother. Use it expansively and not just for searching who Tonto Dike is 'climbing' or how much 'ice' and 'whips' Burna boy acquired this week. Use this to find out if any other Yoruba stood to be counted in the dark days, to rescue us from the PDP centrist doom OBJ was leading us towards, other than Tinubu alone. It is an insult for a historically ignorant "lazy youth" like you to now hate blindly Tinubu in trendy Marlian 2020 because you don't have a clue about the concept of sacrificing for greater good. You just want to trend oppressing whoever your icons are directing you to hate and beef rather than educate yourself about what is real and what is manufactured by selfish folks. 5 Likes 1 Share |
