If half a Yari.ba man stood up against Gowon and northern political elites as Oujkwu did, instead of running from one navel ship to another or even eloping to Port Novo, the shithole called Nigeria would have been a better place than it is today.

I challenge you to mention 5 of your men that stood against the government, went to prison and maybe die because of his stance.

Azikwe ran British government haggard. The brave Igbo women of Aba of blessed memory challenged the imperial British government. Ojukwu even slapped the devil out of British DO (District Officer) in Udi. Ndigbo do not attempt coup when caught, denied it, cried for leniency, and yet slammed into the jail. When Ndigbo attempt coup, the four walls of the world must feel the wave. For the sake of idiocy, which government of Nigeria has any living or dead Yari.ba peep ever challenged? By the way, noise and loudmouth are not part of challenge to government.

You are so stubborn and impervious to the lessons of history that shapes mind. Aside the reality that Tinubu has moved Lagos forward immensely from what he met, and in spite of one of the most ridiculous population explosions in modern world history today, look at his effort for the entire SW.

But for Tinubu it would be OBJ's gangster politics that would still be controlling the SW. You would have gangsters and killers becoming governors whereas Tinubu changed that status quote to deliver technocrats everywhere and usher in refined politicking that effectively put an end to the OBJ days of wanton assassinations and do-or-die politics that saw the SW labelled infamously as the "wild west".

Google is your friend brother. Use it expansively and not just for searching who Tonto Dike is 'climbing' or how much 'ice' and 'whips' Burna boy acquired this week.

Use this to find out if any other Yoruba stood to be counted in the dark days, to rescue us from
the PDP centrist doom OBJ was leading us towards, other than Tinubu alone.

It is an insult for a historically ignorant "lazy youth" like you to now hate blindly Tinubu in trendy Marlian 2020 because you don't have a clue about the concept of sacrificing for greater good.

You just want to trend oppressing whoever your icons are directing you to hate and beef rather than educate yourself about what is real and what is manufactured by selfish folks.
you are not more yoruba than me and can not force your opinion on me....and this genuinely one of the reason SW can never go one direction in politics and is quite divided.
don't know why some of u always want to present a false narrative SW is one united region politically following one major party when its clearly not so.and u know it.
we have realistic and liberal people like us who are always willing to discuss our problems and people like you who thinks "it always to have be our way or we scatter evritin.
what has tinubu done for SW other than milking it and imposing thieves on us..
there's nothing spectacular in SW that you will not see in other parts of the country so I don't know where the superior delusion of u and ur party members come from.
Tinubu is a thief, who is milking lagos,he even enacted a draconian pension law.
Tinubu impose thieving governors who called themselves omoluabi but do not pay salaries..pensions to fellow yoruba people..is that act not anti the omoluabi nonsense they preach?
when they do this does tinubu speak out for the people? or does he visit any state to commensrate with the people or speak with d useless governors? when last did tifnubu visited osun for example but during the period of election he will be gallivating around state he hasn't visited in years begging for votes for his useless candidate.. the only time tifnubu is visible is during elections.
Governors who leave huge debts with audio projects and infrastructures.
Tinubu is a desperate politician who send thugs to beat up fellow yorubas and people of other ethnic group once he sees them as a threat..
tinubu that siphon SW money through contract for audio project across Sw..
but Obasanjo who do not impose any one on the people thru hook or crook is the one we should hate.
folks who wanna die with tifnubu can keep following him doesn't erase the fact that many yoruba who are infact a lot in numbers will never support an heartless, cruel and crooked personality.
let him continue plunging lagos,we don't care.

Nigeria is poverty capital of the world, home of terrorism in Africa and an all round failure. There is nothing in Nigeria worth celebrating. We are not one, never have been and never will be. The only difference is that while some want to continue with the fraud called 'one Nigeria', Igbos fought to get out of the fraud.

I find it daft that Igbos are fighting to get out of the mess that they created. If it wasn’t for Zik an Igbo man and former ceremonial president. The provision for secession would still be in our constitution, and everybody would have been free to go our seperate ways.

This is another claptrap from a loudmouthed Yari.ba peep. There was no such position provided by either 1960 or 1963 Nigerian constitution. I have the copies of these constitution on my study table and would like if you could point out the section. The position of government official does not flow from loudmouths of Yari.ba touts.

You people should tell us how it is that one single man called Zik decided what will enter or not enter the constitution? How is that even possible? Was Zik the owner of Nigeria?

But lets assume that secession did enter the constitution, it would done nobody any good as the independence constitution was removed in January 1966 and has never been used to this day
