The Wike is a he goat!

After bouncing up and down locking up everyone. He will soon lift the lockdown like he released the 30 Mobil staff he arrested before.

He thinks he is the only mad man in Nigeria. People have fought military governments to stand still. Let alone an ordinary governor who doesn't even know the full meaning of covid19.

After watching CNN he jumps up and starts signing orders to lockdown.

Good God!

I will go to Rivers State and buy trouble.

That craze Wike dey find he will see it.
who is this one?

Go try urself...Na frog jump them go use open ur case before them go finally decide on wat to do wit u. U must b a Yoruba man as I perceive, na them dey make ur kind of empty threat.
He may choose not to release them and nothing will happen. The worse that can happen is them going on a Nationwide strike which will not only affect Rivers State. Am not supporting his actions, but then don't come here and start unleashing ur keyboard strength which is not feasible in real life.

Sometimes when i read the comments of people here especially people condeming Governor Wike, i begin to realize the reasons why Nigerians are being enslaved by our greedy and money mongers leaders. Wike announced that the lives of River state people is his Number one priority. Is it a crime? Next, week announced that there will be Total lockdown in River state as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Did you guys expect him to wait until the pandemic becomes unstoppable? While your president and his family are hidding in Aso Rock refusing to come out just to keep safe. In life safety come first before work or pleasure. How much were you guys given from all the money the Nigeria government Makes from Maritime Authority during this Covid 19 pandemic? The Nigeria leaders could not cater for his people. My family in Nigeria said they didnt give them palliatives or any money during this covid 19, but we were had over here in Europe that they gave Nigerians Money and food stuffs that will be enough for them during the lockdown. I pity Nigerians because am one. Rather than criticizing someone that is doing what your president cannot, while dont you put politics aside and collectively criticize ur president and leaders for enslavering you. When i see how much the Uk government sends to my children as weekly meals money and also the benefits they pay us every month it makes to wonder why are Nigeria subject to suffer ness by our greedy leaders? Uk does not ve crude oil, but are far better than Nigeria that is blessed with crude oil. One pounds is equivalent to 470 naira. My people people lets live Wike alone and talk about the other burning issues

Hmm. Before we condemn wike, let's hear why they were arrested first. Most Nigerians are generally an unlawful set of people who do not ever believe in following rules and regulations. There are so many of them in Lagos here.

Most people on NL generally don't read the post before they comment. The post states why they were arrested. What do we want to hear again.

Wike doesnt need to be condemned by anyone. He is doing it himself already

Port workers are on ESSENTIAL DUTIES! There can be no reason for their arrest and impounding of their vehicle. This is not rocket science.

Wike's actions are illegal, that building he demolished yesterday is completely illegal, even under the Quarantine or Land use act in the constitution, he doesn't hold such powers. Amechi will use this opportunity to bring him down, just watch and see.

Well, I'm not saying he's entirely right. I'm just saying we should hear what reason he would give for arresting them. As per the demolished building, I think they had an executive order or so put in place that recommended demolishing of such buildings if the owners are found guilty. He could hide under that cover. What I do not understand is why the owners decided to flout the orders to keep the hotels shut.
You cannot be the Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary at the same time. He can't make an executive order, sign it and enforce it all by himself. He's a lawyer and he knows he's limits, if an executive order made and signed by him applies, he can as well issue an executive order to shoot anyone who steps out! That is not how it works, that order must pass through the court, which court was it passed through? He's own mobile court? He's even the head of the task force team. 1 man is the state Governor, Judiciary and task force leader? You need to understand the law doesn't work this way.

Anybody condemning Wike's action simply lacks understand. The reason why other governors are not like him is the same reason why Nigeria remains a lawless nation till date. People sometimes won't take u serious until u apply strict measures, as there must definitely b scapegoats for others to learn from.

As for me, Wike is the only Governor bold enough to fight for the interest of his River state people. The number one priority of a President or Governor should be the safety and General well being of his people. Borrow a leaf from president Trump of United States. But, am surprised that our own president is not doing thesame. Any leader that fail to take his people first then is not a good leader. The indigene of River state are not complaining because they are happy to be safe than to make money through their ports. All we arguing here is for Wike to allow the ports workers to continue to troop en-mass to River state, spreading covid 19 to his people without control and when people started dying his enemies will be singing songs of praise that Wike is clueless blah........ Blah.Naija people wise up. How much of the money the Nigeria government has been making on Maritime sectors were paid into ur accounts as palliatives during covid 19? But the president and his excecutives and lawmakers were enjoying themselves.

broke which law exactly? when you start arresting essential workers who are on duty, then i think madness has began to set in, you arrest electricity and maritime workers who are involved directly with the nation's economy and you think that to be normal?
i won't be surprised if he starts arresting health workers who treat covid patients, imagine you arrest the MD of the electric company and send him to isolation where the virus infected patient is, does that make sense? the

I have been seeing your comparison between Wike and Nnamdi Kanu on Nairaland for sometime now and it is clear that you are an embittered Northerner. First and foremost, Wike is not an Igbo man and Rivers State is not an Igbo State. I'm sure your bitterness is as a result of seen good leadership in display while the North has been churning out liars and thieves as leaders for the last 50 years. Keep your jealousy far from us.
