The senior pastor of the Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi, has said churches will not remain the same after the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an interview with BBC Yoruba on Tuesday, Adeyemi stated that churches with huge members may see a smaller congregation, as most people will now prefer to stream services from home. “That’s an issue I have pondered upon severally because the church may not be the same again after this COVID-19 experience. As you can see, many people have been receiving messages via online broadcast from their homes. It’s no longer like before that they have to be physically present in churches,” he said. “Now that many have been used to worshiping God from the comfort of their rooms, will they go to church when COVID-19 is finally over? “Many Christians may also feel relaxed on Sundays when they usually go to church,” he said.

Adeyemi also noted that the coronavirus outbreak has shown members if their churches care about them.

Sad news for the pastor,Good news for the congregation, Dr. Wallace Williams on channelTV plus politics last week said the Chinese believe black people are religion fanatics therefore they will download our racism accusations and undermine black race. How as churches help Nigerians grow, they have never organize any form of CONFERENCE or Seminar to better our lives, the only thing the tell us is about the kingdom of God repeatedly, well for someone like me i already know about the kingdom of God,tell me something new.

Covid 19 will even make so many people to doubt the existence of God. As for the pastors, it's a shame they are helpless in this perilous times but will easily heal people with broken spinal cords and fungi infested brains in their churches.
