Tvegas:Oga you made profit nah, 2naira/unit is something. Would you have said same thing if it goes back to stcool's N5 junction? Remember this same Zee went back to 10/11 region like thrice before steadily moving up. Always do away with regrets. Just wait for another opportunity to join the bus or look elsewhere. OBAGADAFFI: Don't get me wrong, I am pro investment, there is no month that I don't invest. It is what I invest in that varies. But you can't invest all your funds to the extent that you don't have cash that can take care of emergency and then resort to selling your Investments before maturity at a loss. Cash flow from your Investments will put you in a position to invest regularly 2 Likes |

rebekah2011: Mr Rebekah. I should have overlooked this matter but I think it's important that I comment on it. I think it's important when you say something I posted is not correct, it's only fair to point out my error so that it can be clarified and we can move on. The reasons being that people come here daily to shift through information in order to make investments decisions and most importantly credibility of the information posted is good to go. The information I posted was actually not only accurate but correct as I have gone through the finance bill to recheck. to say that it isn't correct affects my credibility on this platform and thread as it means I didn't do my due diligence before posting. The fact that you posted this morning and ignoring my earlier comment to clarify if I was in the wrong is not proper. I think it's only fair if you acknowledge your oversight so we can find closure and move on. I hope you live up to expectation as a respected member of this thread . Thank you. A snippet from the bill below Prior to the amendment of the finance bill, all entities and companies in Nigeria have been mandated to pay company income tax on their income, but with the new amendment of the bill, micro and small enterprises are no longer automatically required to pay company income tax, where small businesses in this regard are classified as companies with an annual turnover of N25 million or less.” 4 Likes |

Cash is KING... How do people monitor market price day in day out for N1 price gain that disappears within same week. That's some good amount of energy that could be channelled else where. Overall sentiment in the market is still a downtrend! 1 Like |

stcool:Cash is king advocate, I’m sitting on 7% profit just for buying FIDSON less than an hour ago, now the stock is on full offer. Infact No Offer as we speak. You should advocate for caution and not tell people to keep their cash in face of hyper-inflation that is imminent. 9 Likes 1 Share |

dinyelutochukwu:You have a sound knowledge of how to deploy your cash, more wins! In a Chess game, the king is nothing without other pieces on the board. Smart investors position for a huge return during a market downturn, while the unwise ones join the market when equities are already overpriced. 6 Likes 1 Share |

I think you mixed them up. Everyone is expected to pay VAT it is CIT that they may be exempted from if their income for the year falls into the small enterprise category. Biafran4life: |

The bold is what I stated is not correct. Finance Bill makes provision for a company whose turnover is less than 25m to be exempted from VAT and payment of income tax. PBT- this is profit before tax. This is different from Turnover or Revenue. Please do not be offended for my non-clarification before now. (I remember this post from last year. Some Pharmaceutical coys will churn out better balance sheet this season. The 2020 budget favours companies whose PBT is less then #25M. so what that means is that they will be exempted from CIT (company income tax) in 2020 and probably going forward. Caveat - Due diligence is expected from you. nna777: |

rebekah2011: Dont worry it wld soon come Not much positives to propel the market for some few coming months except for unwinding of global lockdown and its knock on effect on oil which underpin the country FX position and ultimately its financial market however in my opinion this had already been priced in as at date hence the only thing that can come from it is a downside if it does not happen as priced in by the market. so u might see ur above price before / arnd when 2nd quarter result start coming in though you shld not expect teh bloodbath of March/ April cos i dont see market getting to that severe level again so patienceeee 1 Like 1 Share |

ndidigood:I wanted to say, let me phone a friend but you gave the 50% answer from my comment already. The other half is this: health sector responds to results most of the time and on few instances to special news or cases. Despite the covid issue in town, there wasn't any response from the sector until May & Baker's result came out this week. This makes it seasonal....... quarterly or fye period. FIDSON is responding in anticipation of result, not necessarily cos of covid. Like I said, it's strictly my opinion and I may be wrong.....the first half. 1 Like |
