Hmm! When the brains here with so much experience in life are arguing, we just lay low and watch while we learn. This thread is resourceful. And one good thing about this thread is, it's even beyond Treasure Bills, it involves life in general. Gog bless una, all. I love the argument, in as much as there is no insult. 24 Likes |

The Internet is a leveller. It breaks barriers and provides a level playing field for all regardless of your location, status or gender, et al. Your output is dependent on your input - thoughtfulness, resourcefulness and tenaciousness. It’s pretty much the same way most of us won’t have known or met each other and share ideas without the power of the internet. Yet, some persons are only using their own access for social media rants. You can make hundreds and millions of dollars from any part of the world via the internet. Do you know how much some Indian and Pakistani programmers earn online? Skills and values make the difference. I know tens of Nigerians who work remotely here in Nigeria and make a minimum of 1.5million per month. About the blacklisting and restrictions, every entrepreneur must be a problem solver as such seek out alternatives to those barriers. We profit through problems and crises. dake40: 3 Likes 1 Share |

thebargainhunte: You're comparing apples with oranges. Blacks are already at a disadvantaged position regardless of wherever they may be in the world. You're asking how many billionaires in dollars are from Africa? The question should rather be, how many billionaires are Blacks globally, even there in the West? Unlike Africa, Europe, America and Asia all have advanced countries within them with huge GDP and generational wealth, so it is easier to have billionaires from among them. Unfortunately for Blacks/Africans, we lack generational wealth and equally suffer from global stigmatization. It will take a Black man three times more effort to achieve the same result/monetary benefits as would a White man regardless of where he is, whether in Africa or there in the West. 20 Likes 3 Shares |
