Are you his account manager or finance advisor? You speak with so much authority.

I hope you're not equating Flutterwave and Andela's networth to Aboyeji's?

I see you were happy saying you now worth 100M. That's just about $250,000 and you might have been hustling for roughly 20 years.

I know a guy in tech called iyinoluwa aboyeji, he was born 1991. He owns fluttereave - a payment processor and he is already a billionaires in $.

Hmm! When the brains here with so much experience in life are arguing, we just lay low and watch while we learn.
This thread is resourceful. And one good thing about this thread is, it's even beyond Treasure Bills, it involves life in general.
Gog bless una, all.
I love the argument, in as much as there is no insult.

He is not a billionaire in dollars, perhaps you think $1billion = N1billionaire. Even top tier bank CEO's in Nigeria are not worth a billion dollars. How long has flutter wave been in operation? How many persons use their product?

The Internet is a leveller. It breaks barriers and provides a level playing field for all regardless of your location, status or gender, et al. Your output is dependent on your input - thoughtfulness, resourcefulness and tenaciousness.

It’s pretty much the same way most of us won’t have known or met each other and share ideas without the power of the internet. Yet, some persons are only using their own access for social media rants.

You can make hundreds and millions of dollars from any part of the world via the internet.

Do you know how much some Indian and Pakistani programmers earn online? Skills and values make the difference.

I know tens of Nigerians who work remotely here in Nigeria and make a minimum of 1.5million per month.

About the blacklisting and restrictions, every entrepreneur must be a problem solver as such seek out alternatives to those barriers. We profit through problems and crises.

dake40:

I'm not confusing myself and i'm not advising people to bypass the restrictons. I'm just trying to let you know that there are always options..... I use MORENICHE and yes, they accept Nigerians. I'm trying to make you understand that YOU DONT NEED TO MOVE TO FIRST TIERS BEFORE YOU MAKE IT IN TECH . The fact that you are from First tier does not mean the companies you mentioned wont give you problems. The keword is

Testing and keep testing... Go over to BHW. Lots of Affiliate companies looking for people to promote their offers. If you have the the right auience, THERE ARE AWAYS AFFILIATE OFFERS/WEBSITES AVAILABLE on https://www.offervault.com/ Offers that WILL ACCEPT Nigerians

There are no limits bro if you know what you are doing And yes, Payoneer is better than Paypal for IM. If you a Nigerian IM. I shouldnt be telling you that.

people have no reason to be homeless in the United States right now. The federal govt is paying 600usd weekly plus whatever the state you're living is paying to those that lost their jobs. Every unemployed should be getting 800usd and above weekly right now. Banks have also freeze all interest rate on loans and mortgages . Where is the homelessness coming from?

If you can Believe CNN, you can also believe a teenager asking for money for textbooks

Those it really make a financial value owning a house, me thinks getting big apartment houses with a enough cash approach the bank and buy some real estate. again i think buying a house is just been tied to emotions.
Sholapey:
Exactly! We live in an estate very close to the airport and our mortgage is around €2800 monthly, we also pay insurance on everything we have including home appliances. One of our kids is a border, we pay around €3000 tuition fees per term, around €9000 a year. We pay road tax, car insurance, television licence and so on...infact, to enjoy all facilities abroad, you have to work for it and pay for it. The reason why some people prefer Nigeria than abroad is because they can't cut corners here like to do in Nigeria.

Sir, how many of them are from Africa? Our environment has limitations when it comes to making money.

You're comparing apples with oranges. Blacks are already at a disadvantaged position regardless of wherever they may be in the world.

You're asking how many billionaires in dollars are from Africa? The question should rather be, how many billionaires are Blacks globally, even there in the West?

Unlike Africa, Europe, America and Asia all have advanced countries within them with huge GDP and generational wealth, so it is easier to have billionaires from among them.

Unfortunately for Blacks/Africans, we lack generational wealth and equally suffer from global stigmatization. It will take a Black man three times more effort to achieve the same result/monetary benefits as would a White man regardless of where he is, whether in Africa or there in the West.

Because he didn't declare it or no known investment in his name. Your car, jet etc. is your asset and they are included when calculating net worth.
