cutievik:Please explain your question. Are the dead men not dead? Or is this not Baga vegetation? The drone footage is a static footage that represents one second of what goes on. In other words the attention span of a housefly. What happens afterwards is any average soldiers intelligence. |

Al-Watiya airbase, Libya: Turkish UAV attacked a Pantsir air defense system at Al-Watiya airbase, Libya. ISI preliminary BDA report reveals that one shelter was demolished and another one was partially damaged.

A couple of more interesting pieces of loot from GNA capturing al-Watiyah Airbase from LNA: An Mi-35 & an LT-79. Also, appears that the official uniform of the offensive was a wifebeater, shorts & flip-flops 2 Likes

#ISIS West Africa published images of their fighters during Ramadam, seemingly on ribat, during attacks etc. Unfortunately unsure what particular area they aare operating in. Rare to see in a qasi-urban area. Seems to be standard ISWA units, standard equipment. 2 Likes

bidexiii: The fighters near Lake Chad by their equipment- standardised chest rigs, AKM, PK/M etc. Shows the direct influence of IS-C in IS WA development. Nigerian news is currently pushing the "total defeat on all fronts" narrative RE BH/IS, pics possibly designed to counter. 3 Likes

LTGEN:Really got me confused me with your explanations, well, to further clarify my question. I was asking if the location captured from the drone footage was actually showing NA positions or BHT location. This was promoted due to the trenches and sandbags as seen from the footage. |

These images are clearly a PR stunt in has a result of the set back in the past week. No video showing them overrunning military formations. So they’ve resulted to show they are still existing. There end is near, currently has we are speaking our dogged troops are battling BHT in Gajigana in Magumeri L.G.A of Borno state area 14 Likes

bidexiii: Libya- going back to the strategic value of the GNA capturing al-Watiyah Airbase from the LNA (aside for the symbolism and all the toys they captured there): 1) LNA lost its main base of operations (not only air) in western Libya 2) GNA has so many resources freed now. 3) If the GNA will repurpose its secondary role, it Would allow them to split their assets and better protect them & supply lines but given the LNA's current positioning, that would be relatively marginal. 1 Like

cutievik:BAGA is a well known Sandy Area Yesterday the NA wrote a detailed report as to how they neutralized 20 ISWAP bh and captured 6AK AND 5 TYPE 36 grenades with KIA Today ISWAP released video the receiver of the video said he could not verify the location of the VIDEO Trust me on this the NAF and NA can VERIFY the location of those places for him. WAR is not a game ISWAP is daily suffering horrendous casualties some of them are being used as target practice in NIGER They can post glossy pictures and stage suicidal attacks on fobs ISWAP and BH if the momentum is sustained by the AFN is sustained and ramped up after the Rainy season is over are done FIRST Q 2021. 2 Likes |

bidexiii:Damn see equipment abeg!!!!! We could lobby a third party via black market to buy up most of these abandoned hardwares especially the aircrafts, am very sure those Libyans will sell off most of these machines at giveaway prices. I think operations like these can be spear headed by the NIA. Some of these equipment (Aircrafts ) can't be operated by some of these rebels, offer them money and use NAF in a covert operations to airlifts these things. I know this isn't as easy as it might seem but it is doable. 1 Like |

It’s clear everyone is exulting the beauty of this offensive. I’m just sad, cos I really can’t understand what held us back all these while.....leaving our soldiers to die in unspeakable numbers. |

ugo4u:when one looks at LIBYA It is hard to turn away less than 20 years ago their standard of living was rated one of the highest in the world ( no exaggeration) What it has been reduced to now is a sobering reality of a failed state where First World countries use it as a testing ground for their SF. It is sad. |

LTGEN:Very sad indeed, the more reason why we should have acquired all or most of their military assets not just for the reason that we might be getting them at giveaway prices but the fact that we will be reducing the chances of terrorists getting hold of them. |

LTGEN: This is what the western powers and there NATO allies gave us in Africa. Now arms proliferation has littered the whole Northern, western and part of east Africa has a result of the collapse of Lybia.
