Anon123: Pls richad don't adhere to this advise, don't state anything on your form asthma is a kind of sickness that goes along with management, it is not that scary as people see it all you need is how to take care of your self and avoid being in a place that can trigger it on, and declaring it on your form will get the VO biased about your health condition, I have so many of my friends studying abroad at cold regions, Canada, America and Europe that are asthmatic and they are doing very fine looking so plumpy and healthy you need to see these guys photos, you need to change environment and it might even help you, just wear your sweater and carry your inhaler always but don't be surprised that you will be fine and may not have attacks as you use to, always pray to God for good health and guidance and you will be fine. And never declare that on your form as it is never a barrier except you want it to be for you! You know, " what you believe in is what happens to you! " there is no two ways about it, change your mindset or stop listening to people and follow your own instincts! and for the records the bolded isn't declared as a health threatening situation on CIC website and for more clearer insight you can check on GCMS websites make google your friend, there you will see the type of sickness listed as threatening and financially demanding as the government of canada don't want any liability especially in the area of health situation, so my brother you are good to go. Let us be properly guided. All the best. 1 Like |

naijaoyibo: Your financial situation is strong enough to sponsor your sister to any level she wants, but then with all these money yet she was denied reason might be that they don't believe such money is real or available, due to our economic situation here and the level our country is in terms of corruption they hardly believe us even if you show 100million. My advise is, make it simple pay to one of your account maybe one million, like that u can transfer to some People to deposit into your account like thrice a week till you reach to a reasonable amount you wish to achieve for her sponsorship. Secondly, transfer the money she need for her living expenses to her personal account, pls if her account doesn't run in millions u pay in sparingly depending on the strength of her account. Lastly, please make my last suggestion your second, pay her full tuition for the first academic year, because you have the money and that could convince the VO better that you are financially equipped. if you don't have the strength for the second suggestion I gave after paying the tuition, due to balance reduction, consider paying everything to your account and make use of your personal account as long as it is genuine they don't care to know where the money is coming from except they doubt your geniuety, and once again make sure you are consistent with your previous application and don't show too much documents be straight and direct to the requirements, since the main reason for her denial was based only on finance. All the best! 4 Likes |

Hello Nairalanders Please I want to ask I was denied because of purpose of visit and family ties I was going to a year college program wirh an intent of switching to a univeristy My dad paid my full tution fee and I had someone in Canada to pay for a year full apartment for me and I also submitted the receipt I felt thats one of the thing that made the VO raise an eyebrow cause he/she thought I wanted to use the college program as a means of immigration My question is I'm applying soon and I'm not including the apartment receipt again Will the VO go back to my old application to check my Documents? |

Mobi22: Good morning mobi22, I sincerely sympathize with you as regards to your application being refused. First of all, request for a GCMS notes to know the reason you were denied, secondly state your profile(documents) u used in your application to apply. That way my senior colleagues in this forum will advise you better. In light of this, you are in the right track just that your statement of purpose (SOP) wasn't convincing enough to the VO to believe that you are a genuine student, therefore he refused your application as he wants more clarification on your family background and your intent of choosing Canada as a study destination, so take your time and draft out a better SOP or LOE to address those issues raised by the VO. Fast forward I want to know what college program you are going for, diploma, PGD/C etc. And pls don't remove anything from your previous application, it was not the reason you were refused (Apartment receipt), you need to be consistent with your previous application. The VO has already stated his concerns, so don't contradict yourself focus more on drafting a great SOP or LOE to address those reasons. SOP : statement of purpose LOE : letter of explanation All the best. |

Strongwind1960: Lol.... I didn't say it's a barrier I didn't say he will be denied All I said was, he should declare it even if it's not on their website.. Bro, are u saying a woman that is pregnant shouldn't declare her pregnancy mind you, this is not a health conditions o Again, reading your reply.. you didn't help us by asking your friends if they declared it cos that's our bone of contention here? During your medical examination, they will ask u if u have a health condition.. the cic medical request form will even ask you if u have any. Like you advised, he should follow instincts... I rest my case on this.. 1 Like |

M JustMellow: You're absolutely right Bro. As for my colleagues, majority of them if not all got their job offers through international job fairs. I think the best and easiest way you can secure a job is to register for the job fairs which are usually held at Dubai or France. In this present time, most companies in Canada are not recruiting foreign nationals due to the current global pandemic, instead some employers are laying off workers as a result of decreased business capitalization or low income to pay up their on ground staffs. When the travel restrictions relaxes, interested candidates might also utilize the AIPP route by registering for any of the available job fairs as mentioned above. It will end in praise 2 Likes 1 Share |

Anon123: Bro non of them declared anything because I asked them!, Asthma is a chronic disease and it is hereditary, you just have to manage it..So because you have ulcer or diabetes you will go and tell them u have those, these people are whites thus they are organized they know all these morethan us, as long as it is not stated as a threatening issue on their website, so why then will you have to shoot yourself at the leg, had it been it's that serious as u weigh it, they would have listed it long gone. They do lots of skool doing PGD/PGC HRM program in CANADA.. and Centennial College @ Ontario has a Graduate Certificate Program in Financial Planning and also has a One year Program in HRM Note: PGC is a One Year Program PGD is always 2 years , sometimes 16 months (but rounded to 24 months) Ur CGPA of 3.2 is sufficient for a PGD PGD programs are mostly done in Colleges |

NDNO: It is very easy and straight forward. Visit https://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/dcae/faces/faces/pages/identite1.jspx?lang=en and apply online, make online payment with your Naija master card and print the downloaded documents. Attach a passport photo, admission letter and photocopy of your standard passport. Send the documents via courier ie UPS or DHL to their office in Quebec (The address is in one of the printed downloaded forms).Good luck. If any Nairalander is heading to Quebec in Fall2020 or Winter2021 PM me let's discuss. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Good morning gurus in the house @justmellow @justwise and everyone else. I am an old timer and I have been delayed twice. I am planning to re fire and I would like some light to be shed into my documentations. Firstly, I am planning to use my two sisters as my sponsor, the main sponsor is in UK and I will be having her transfer my second semester tuition into my account as I have made payments for my first do I still need to show her SOA and does she need to have a reasonable closing account balance(note my program of study is 3years) ,plus some extra funds for living expense. My other sister which is the Co-sponsor has a PR in Canada and I want her to give me a sponsorship letter to proof she will take care of accommodation and probably a little of feeding. Do I still need to show 10k cad even after she will be sponsoring accommodation and feeding or will showing 5kcad miscellaneous be enough. Secondly I have a registered business and also I work in a company owned by the family and earn 300k will this be good enough as family tie(I have a daughter but I am not married is it advisable to include her as family tie or not). Thirdly I get rents annually form properties inherited from my late dad but you know how polygamous families are we are all joined together in various properties but I am a beneficiary in more than one places. Will including the last will of testament and explaining in my SOP how much I get annually plus the turnover of my business be reasonable enough as proof of funds accessible to me in subsequent years. Thank you all as you help shed more light to this. God bless you |
