Nairobi is very very close to Joburg - give it 10 years top. If the buildings under construction or approval - are completed in next 5yrs - skyscrapperwise - Nairobi will probably be at Joburg.

Upperhill, when I was in university, was nothing - now it competes with Sandton.

Westland's biggest building then was 10 floor - now it's CBD. I think Soin Plaza was tallest thing there.

That is why JLL named Nairobi - the 6th Most DYNAMIC CITY IN THE WORLD. The only one to interfere with Chinese and Indian cities.

Nairobi probably has the most skyscrapers and highrise under construction that any Africa city.
