I think it is more than that they are just envious full stop.

Amongst themselves even in the same family the envy is out of this world.

It is in their DNA and is driven by a profound inferiority complex.

They are sensible enough to adjust that to the clan level when survival dictates but you will hardly see them employ Eboes from another town.
Very clannish and envious folk

Just mention anyone doing well and their first response is self comparison, dredging up imagined scenarios where they are better.

Every self description is in the superlative.

Some people will tell us they are behind Lagos economy grin

Imagine, how much does 2 by 2 shops pays to Lagos economy? sad

Pls, no Easternbull tout should quote me.

Those 2x2 shops are part of the reasons why the ports are Jammed. Why people see Lagos as a commercial hub. Why companies are comfortable establishing themselves in Lagos. It’s called ripple effect.

It’s not the reason bt part of the reason. Let’s appreciate everyone’s contributions to Lagos.

Obasa would take 20% of that money while 40% goes to Tinubu.

How's that the problem of your family?

With such amount of money how has it impacted on the state? Lagos is just a tiny state almost same size with Anambra and yet the federal government located various economic structures over there to the detriment of other states. It's only supporters of political embezzlers that don't want other states to develop so that they will continue stealing from the system. Nigerians with funny people. Every have left the various states claiming Lagos.

How much of the IGR Is down to the seaport?

Who built the seaport?
Was the seaport not there in 1991 when the capital moved to Abuja
In1999 IGR was 6 billion Naira in A WHOLE YEAR

Lagos has been thriving before Nigeria was created

The same tired hateful excuses.

Ibos have been in coalition with the Fulani in Nigeria politics with the Yoruba in opposition since1960 until 2015

Why didn't they use that vantage position to build a Sci-fi seaport in Arondizuogu and a world class airport in Ohafia?

Are you talking about omo ibo?
Did you not hear about one that machetted his brother to death over mango? Happened recently. It is worse than envy.

They are bitter about Lagos ports, Lagos bridges, Lagos roads, Lagos Excellence, Lagos upscale communities & real estate, Lagos water, Lagos history, Lagos owners, Lagos development, Lagos economy, God forbid, if a calamity were to happen in Lagos and wash away the bridges, the ports, the high rise, the waterfront, beaches and parks, while the world send condolence and relief, Ibo will get on social media and jubilate. They are wishing calamity on us everyday. That calamity shall wipe away their land.

Hahaha Ure also my brother actually. Truth is Igbo’s are boastful bt do are other tribes when it’s necessary. Igbo had cause to defend their ill treatment and that was actually the beginning of the boast. It’s a defensive mechanism and partly true. I’m sure if they were not verbally attacked they would have cause to defend themselves as well. Every enthic group will do such if they were ridiculed anywhere they feel thy have contributed immensely.

I sure Igbo’s don’t shout like dat in abuja or up north or even ogun state here. I’m not saying it’s right bt I understand the reasons even though it can be annoying cos it’s a collective contribution from many groups aswell not just Igbo’s.
