Something about this woman's economics just doesn't add up. Sadly, Buhari is the type who doesn't sack or redeploy appointees. They just go on auto cruise till a 4-year tenure is over. Sadly! 7 Likes |

naija4life247:. What actually is your point. This is the third time buhari is leading Nigeria economy into recession. 1st was 1984, second was 2016 and now 2020. |

Then start trimming overbloated payments made to those Senators. Trim those estacodes paid for doing nothing. Trim all those salaries being paid in dollars. Reduce our loan dependency. If you think taxing us is the way out, then you are a lazy non thinking Minister of finance. We needed Kemi Adeosun for a time such as this. 3 Likes 1 Share |

They tell us the bad news without declaring the solutions they have. Hallmark of ineptitude. I would think a finance minister will tell the President and the Governors to make a very deep cut on the jumpo pay and allowances of political office holders. Even lay off the 'food for the boys' PAs. Stop the purchase of cars for every dick and harry in government. Go as far as asking the NA to reform to reduce the multiple federal house of assembly, and the mergers of the MDA. A broke nation cannot afford the wastes being squandered on the political elites. quote author=Luckydubby7 post=89811876] https://www.channelstv.com/2020/05/21/nigeria-is-heading-towards-recession-finance-minister/amp/?__twitter_impression=true [/quote] 2 Likes |

Nigeria has been in recession right from the days of the military although it became pronounced during the period of the military. Political office holder still live extravagant lifestyle despite the falling economy that followed the drop in crude oil. Politicians do not want to cut the cost of governance in Nigeria. Luxury cars and expensive houses are all what they buy having looted the national treasury. 3 Likes |

Nigeria has been in recession right from the days of the military although it became pronounced during the period of the civilian government. Political office holder still live extravagant lifestyle despite the falling economy that followed the drop in crude oil price in the international market. Politicians do not want to cut the cost of governance in Nigeria. Luxury cars and expensive houses are all what they buy having looted the national treasury. President Buhari must prepare Nigeria for Agriculture especially NORTHERN NIGERIA were the region has the largest expanse of fertile land. Most importantly NIGERIA should drop this expensive federal system or Presidential systems for a cheap system that is not cash draining. The journey to get Nigeria immediately restructured must be kick started to save Nigeria from total disintegration. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigeria has been in a recession since u guys took over. What’s wrong with this woman sef, na now she wake up? It’s only politicians that don’t know this because they don’t pay for anything out of their pockets while them and their families r feeding fat on our collective destinies! Meanwhile God bless Gov. Ayade of Cross Rivers for cancellation of tax for subsistence farmers and petty traders. 1 Like 1 Share |

HeadShot:Do we really believe feeding our children with N70 is fraud? Why do we keep quoting the the total amount without the number of children? How much does a Politician take for a meal? Can't we leave politics, hatred for ones and be analytical? We should try do some research on how the school feeding is done, the role of the three tier of government, the Media, School heads, community leaders and Parents. We all have roles to play to make the programme a success. I have done a lot of findings on this programme since i read about it. I have to even call my elder brother who is a School Headmaster to confirm it. There are issues with the running of the programme but much of the problems are at the state, local government and community level. It is working in states that are serious. 2 Likes 3 Shares |
