Actually, Nigeria never recovered fully from the devastating economic disaster Buhari inflicted on this country in 1984.

The damage he did to our local industries were never fully recovered until Obasanjo/Yaradua/Jonathan under whose government investors started trickling back but no where near what we had before Buhari committed high treason in 1984.

Always a curse to Nigeria. I have never seen one single good thing he's done. Nepotic guy. Always appointing incompetent bruhs, from his region

Yes, we never left recession since Ngozi Iwealla started borrowing to pay Salaries. Anyway, IG we check over the world very well, the monies stolen and hidden in imPatience Jonathan's numerous accounts can take us out of recession
Dont be silly, patience Jonathan's money came from gifts as first Lady. How much gifts are give to your pastors or imams wife in church? She wants to travel competition amongst members on tickets and usd and whoes house she will stay abroad. Child is getting married, car gifts etc. That is just church. Now you are talking of a whole presidents wife. Pls don't be a hipocrete. We're you sleeping when bubus wife has issues with her aid over money? Ie 2billion?
So you think it is easy to hide money in this present day and time? Jonathan has said you should produce any account in the world you find his money.
His wife has been procecuted and no where has it been found that she did any contract or stole any money. (If not show where you read it). All her monies where gifts.

Nigeria our country..well lets hit rock bottom and start all over again...
Have we not been there since 2015 recession?
We are not far from Venezuela situation. Just that no Western embargo and we can still borrow money internationally.

The only thing worse is if the country was carved out among 100 warlords like Shekau in a total civil war or insurgency.
Something we might just be sleepwalking into.

One Yoruba Muslim masooap once told me this buhari government is the best ever in Nigeria,.

Feeding school children with more than 600 million daily even when they experiencing Lock down...

Budgeting 1200 computers for customs with more than 600 million naira..

Doing all nonsense while borrowing money

Tell me why Nigeria won't be in Recession

Assuming the government gives each child a 300 naira plate of food (Lagos food) using that amount they can feed 2 million children each day. Obviously there are more than 2 million school children in Nigeria so the amount isn't unusual. The lockdown and closure of schools however defeats the purpose of the school feeding program.

Divide 600 million by 1200, that's 500,000 per computer.
If the government was planning on buying something brand new like this https://www.parkwaynigeria.com/shop/hp-prodesk-600-g4-microtower-pc-4hy04ut-intel-core-i7-8gb-ram-1tb-hdd-windows-10-pro/
Without discount budgets that amount will quickly pile up. This isn't even counting peripherals, security and installation of the computers. Of course customs needs computers to log daily border activities however I'm not sure they need top of the line hardware for that. The people in charge are in a better position to explain if we hold them accountable.

Now we can say whatever we want about the way Nigeria funds it's operations but we have to look beyond the amount of money spent and look at the end product. If there is no end product that's where the problem lies.

Do we really believe feeding our children with N70 is fraud? Why do we keep quoting the the total amount without the number of children? How much does a Politician take for a meal? Can't we leave politics, hatred for ones and be analytical? We should try do some research on how the school feeding is done, the role of the three tier of government, the Media, School heads, community leaders and Parents. We all have roles to play to make the programme a success. I have done a lot of findings on this programme since i read about it. I have to even call my elder brother who is a School to confirm it. There are issues with the running of the programme but much of the problems are at the state, local government and community level. It is working in states that are serious.

School is not in session
Nobody is feeding anybody anywhere
Or are you telling me there is no school children in your neigborhood?... Go out and ask them who feeds them my muslim friend...

Today another 697 m is going off the books
