Anyways, theres an element of truth in what you said about journeying to exploit where we've been, will be and so on.. Cos last night I had a dream being in the a place two times successively. Like I dreamt and found myself in this place, stirred out of it and went right back into the same place though in another scenario. And I have a strong feeling they want me back. Meaning I ought to be there. Its actually a school.

Ive had a dream like that before with this school after I dissolved my contract with them due to delayed payment. And the woman called me back and reviewed the conditions. Again they had accommodation issue and left with part of my money, though she called me back I refused, telling them to pay up all outstanding before I'll come back. ( this was last summer) so last night, I had this dream. First one, she paid me my money. Second one ( within same night) I was back in the same place but this time surrounded by pupils and parents bringing in their wards for registration. So ive been thinking what that means cos I didn't go to bed thinking about this particular school but there I was exploring it again in the dream world just like the first time. So was still reminiscing on it when I stumbled on this post.

Is that to say I OUGHT to be there? Hmm... ..

Our consciousness goes nowhere when we are sleeping. It is intact, only it is in sleep mode.

What would be the point of leaving your body in order to do that?
I believe that while we sleep, the mind is at work reshuffling and remapping our memories to improve on storage and access for when we are awake. When in the dreaming, the memories is the playback mode of the same process. Think Defragmentation!
