NYSC mobilisation has been suspended - Director general reveals. The Director general of Nysc has disclosed today that there won't be Nysc mobilisation anytime soon. The National youth service Corps (NYSC) was formed on the 22nd of May 1973 during Yakubu Gowon's administration, it was established as an attempt to reconcile ethnic differences and heal Nigeria from the Civil War.
