Maduka Okoye holding talks with Sparta Rotterdam of Holland for a possible switch from Fortuna

I think this is a bad idea. the German league is more open and competitive, I mean, this is a step lower Imo. there shouldn't be a rush at the moment. I guess this is the benefits of playing for a national team.

If Sparta Rotterdam can guarantee him a starting shirt, then it's a very good move..

For goalkeepers, the club they play for hardly matters as long as they are playing regularly and are decent enough..

The English Championship has been ended, that means Balogun and Wigan has escaped relegation!

This is false news, man, the Championship and even League 1 are still chasing resumption.

I rate him highly but he can be annoyingly selfish. At the same time he is extremely talented so you may just have to suck that up and accept him

He is an average player to be honest, man. At least for now, if he remains in Brugge, he should improve.

You called a move from German 4th division to Dutch 1st Division "a step down"? Do you even understand he is a goalkeeper and can never improve without getting involved in competitive matches? Dude would probably be facing the likes of Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord, Vittesse, Heerenven, AZ Alkmar et al, on a weekly basis unlike what is obtainable in the German 4th division. Lol you funny oo, I wonder what would have became of Onana if he had stayed put, instead of trading Barcelona for same Dutch league. Dude this would go down in history as the best move made by a young Nigerian international goal keeper since the 21st century.

We invited him to the SE party when he absolutely did not deserve it.

Then when he did, we completely forgot him and then when he started to blow we remembered him.

Eze will play for Nigeria but we did not treat him well.
we treated him more than well and I don't care if he plays for Nigeria or not

As in ehn, he is only Nigerian from his mother's side, but the guy dey carry our matter for head like say na full Nigerian.

He's actually putting in work; making efforts, changing teams and scoring goals to catch the eye of the coach, granting interviews to profess his love for Nigeria, learning English that is not even his first language, to ease communication, despite being overlooked for one hit wonders like Onuachu over the years.

A true King, we must Stan.

Admittedly, Onuachu didn't blow up for the national team, but realistically the one season wonder here is Dessers. We should laud one player without denigrating the other unnecessarily.

I did not say one season, I said one hit. I don't care for club football, this thread is for National teams, and Onuachu's numbers so far, has not been impressive. If Dessers comes in and plays rubbish, we go still list am under one hit wonders like Ogbeche, Uchebo, Onuachu, Oduamadi and a host of others. It is better than no hit wonders like Uzoenyi and that Lokosa guy.

Nobody is denigrating anybody, we are just stating what has been established. Thank you for your concern.

Dessers will be protected if he plays rubbish and you know this

I am sure he will do well

Dessers will never be dragged like onauchu ,he is already a favorite here without even kicking the ball .

He will have protectors, but he will still get dragged, albeit, he will have a longer safe period. Even Iheanacho starboy chop drag too, and this was after starting well.

Nigeria will not lack talent for next years

Yeah, man, I get your point and it's salient. But my opinion is we shouldn't class players who've had unsuccessful stints in the national team, yet still maintain consistency in club teams, as one hit.
Unlike Onuachu the other "one hit wonders" have gone below radar, Onuachu is still relevant. Even Osimhen was a one-hit at one point, he wasn't performing at national level, but club football brought him back.
Dennis is a no-hit, but if he lights up club football next season, that tag would be nonsense. As long as the player is firing in at club level, he's a potential hit.
