Futuragetty: Different people with different schools of thoughts. For me, I will eat it again and again. Jesus dined with Zacchaeus, so why would I reject eating from friends? Also, God made Peter feast at Cornelius. 2 Likes |

tipscogreen:bro during my NYSC days in the FCT I don't use to cook or buying food on days like this cos the Muslim community will do the needful. We will even eat and go with takeaways. The Muslim are friendly and I won't justify them all with bad acts of few of other Muslim individuals. I think what our Muslim brothers and sisters need is the modern education. Few educated Muslim I met have no problem, they are kind, well mannered and cheerful givers 7 Likes |

tipscogreen: The Yoruba's believe in peaceful coexistence with everyone, the idea of religion was a tool to control the minds of the people. The Southwestern Muslims are not that foolish, they apply wisdom on their daily living. Let us as a people stop the idea of pitting ourselves against each other. The Jews won't allow you stay in their land in Israel because you're Christian from Nigeria. The Arabs won't allow you to stay in Mecca because you're a Moslem from Nigeria. The only land you have is Africa and your fellow black brother and sister are your friends. The true religion is LOVE 14 Likes 1 Share |

Here we go again! Religion this, religion that! Una for kuki kill una neighbours because them no follow for una religion na. I don't know why people don't still understand that the best religion, whether in Christianity, Islam, traditional, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Godianism, or whatever; is LOVE. L--O--V--E! Go for love and save yourself all this trouble of trying to know what is wrong or what is not. If you have love, you're on autoright. Happy celebration to my Muslim brethren. Irrespective of our different religious beliefs, we still exist together because we love ourselves. If all Muslim and Christian will be like the ones living in my neighborhood, the world would have been a better place! Shalom. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Depends on how liberal your neighbors are... My neighbors eat with us during Easter.... So I see no reason why this should be a sin.... Let's just stop all these religion competition/comparisons... Just have a clean mindset and love your neighbors 1 Like |

Well, let me drop my opinion on this. i grew up in the north, maiduguri to be precise. during christmas, my muslim sxhool mates do visit me at home n eat with me ..... during sallah, though i don't go to their houses but they bring me drinks, chinchin, cakes etc in class. the only food i ve issue with is the Meat, which is gotten from the ram n its believed was dedicated to their God before slaughter...though i dnt knw how true its ....but neither those things affected my faith in Christ jesus or killed me. in fact good muslims r very nice n understanding. 1 Like |

as a Christian if you can go to the market and buy food from Muslims and return home to cook it and eat it with your family then dining with them during celebrations is not a taboo. let love lead. 4 Likes |

ikh777:Jesus dined with sinners and corrupt tax collectors.more like dinning with ogboni and occultic politicians of today but his purpose was not to be like them but for them to truly know him. the point is Jesus our model showed us that he loved the sinner but hates the sin.practice faith and not religion.religion divides and segregates, love unites and God is love so practice what your father in heaven does 1 Like 1 Share |

Some people will say, sacrificed to idols; how did you know that? Anyway, ihe onye ma, ya maraya, nihe na okeosimiri anokatagi rie onyebula, nke anahugi ukwu ya anya. It is not what you take in that kills you but what comes out of your mouth. if you know; you know. I don't feel it is bad to criticize them, we all are the same. However, if you know the ones sacrificed to the idols, you don't have to eat that, that is if you know. My Stake 1 Like |

Na your problem if u eat it or not. I,as a Muslim do eat Easter and Christmas meal with my previous neighbor who are Christians and they do eat from our own Sallah food too. But this past years, we rented our house to another Christian who is a Pastor, the first year of them being with us, me and my family accepted their Christmas food and ate it happily. But when it got to our own period of Sallah, we gave them Food, but the man told his children to reject the food, that they don't eat Festive food. Since that year, we also stop receiving their own Christmas/eastern food because it's not as if we are also hungry but we are accepting it because of Love for one another before. So, the choice is yours, as for me eating Christmas/Easter food doesn't mean am denouncing my faith or because of Hunger but because of LOVE 4 Likes |

vision2050:You're absolutely correct, I have no problems with Muslims whatsoever, but I know quite a few, during their celebrations, I was quick to always construct messages wishing them well but during Christmas/Easter I never get any messages from them despite them viewing my status and all that..it became so glaring last Christmas and this easter and I vowed to stop sending them messages if they couldn't deem it fit to wish me well...Not like they need my messages or I need theirs but I found out that they may not be as tolerant as I am...this morning on my WhatsApp they are all posting, I viewed all and didn't wish them anything, my old self would have been constructing messages by now but not anymore. I felt its time I stopped fooling myself. 2 Likes |
