I was ploughing more money into it to get it right but i had to stop as i can see that from all indication , it wont pay me on the long run. My mistake was starting out with the Nigerian used vehicle and buying tokunbo from usa is not coming cheap either as i bought some by myself .i felt the uber is not suitable and not meeting my expectations hence the need to recoup my investment
emmanuelewumi:

Did you get that return in one year?

If yes why didn't you continue?

Liquidating means that the upfront interest is recalculated upto the day you decided to liquidate and the excess upfront interest(already paid to you) is deducted from your principal...meaning you would not get your full initial capital back.

Tell me this...

Is Warren Buffet a Genius or someone who just consistently kept investing?

They said he started investing at the age of 13, now he is 89. Hmmn... 76 years difference.

If you compound 1 million naira at the rate of 10% per annum, in 76 years that money will be almost 1.4 billion naira. Take from that what you will.

The idea that everyone should try to make money fast doing? Is I don’t know. All economies have a fixed amount of money. Meaning for you to make a lot of money some other people have to not make money like you do. Not everyone’s business will succeed because of that. We can’t make more than the economy has. There can’t be 100 Dangote’s at the same time, e no fit work!

So let people invest in what they know and start from where they understand, with time they will grow! I can bet many here have jobs and are also investing in their Skills and careers! The 10K they invest monthly will be 100K monthly one day and then 1 million one day.

Seems what Barrytone and the other guys keep explaining here is not getting through to people’s head.

Nigeria started using naira in 1973 and #2 = 1 pounds then.
As at 1944, 76 years ago, $1 = 0.25 pounds
76 years ago you compared Warren Buffet investing #1m equivalent to make #1.4B by 2020 will make him a stupid investor if he does because atleast, #1m in 1944 is not less than 400m in 2020 equivalent and after 73 years of investing and one can only come out to show #1b profit to me is ridiculous for that amount of money.
If given 400m now, an average nigerian should be able to turn the money into noting less than #2B in 10 years not to talk of 73 years under normal condition.
As at 1944, the richest nigerians were millionaires and brand new mercedes was around #300 then. A man with #1m then will be in the class of adenugas and co now bro.

70% if u are using tokunbo then but the cost of tokunbo is not cheap , tracker and few extra expenses to be added to cost , driver disappointment getting unbearable so it could hv been nice if all things are equal but frustration in the business wont allow u make the 70% jejely . I hv a tokunbo car badly wrecked by my new partner driver with 2 weeks of starting work . Also a car stolen from a driver but was recovered due to tracker was installed in it ,the stress to recover the car from police was another thing . All this put together made me retrace my steps . Risk is high and i hv been dealing in a riskier business all my life that i felt i dont need more of it . I need sanity

It was a sweet and bitter experience, even though i was able to breakeven after selling off all my cars and recoup my invested money ,its a terrian made for men as u will need to battle some drivers that are unwilling to pay up as at when due as most hv already sworn to tell stories immediately they take custody of the car.The cost of repairs and loss to accident is high which made the business quite risky . I managed the business for 1year. The grass is never greener on the other side grin Thats my lesson

Ma'am you really tried. I'm about to enter the business and will appreciate some tips for management. Sent you a PM. Please check thanks

The process will make your capital idle in your account by the time they finish with paper work, sukuk bonds must have been closed. Closing date is June 2nd. You may check with your account manager to see if you can meet up with the date before you liquidate your ntb.

If given N400 million today the average Nigerian will turn it to N2 billion in 10 years, that is a fallacious statement. It is not possible. Nigerians who can do that are less than 2% of the population

85% will turn the money to less than N100 million or go broke in 10 years, 10% will turn the money to N200 million, 3% are just there they are so conservative and turn the money to just N500 million , 2% of the people will turn the money to N1 billion and above.

Did u get an SMS from mutualfund that your redemption request is being processed when u did the first one? And how much did u redeem first and attempt to redeem later
I know that their daily online redemption limit is N2.5 Million. Once u exceed that, u can't go any further

yes, that is why i said under normal condition - That is, if you give a business savy/inclined person the money, he will use it well.

Check this -

*SHINA PETERS VS JIM OVIA*

In 1990, Shina Peters built a house with N20 million naira; the same year Jim Ovia started Zenith Bank with the same amount.

Today, you and I don't have a room in Shina's house but I have an account in Jim's bank and probably you do too.

Shina's house was built in Iju Lagos and remains there till date.
Jim's bank started in a corner and now has over 500 branches in Nigeria, and many international branches.

Millions upon millions transact business in Jim's bank daily.
Shina's house is becoming dilapidated...in 2015, he SPENT more money to renovate the house and bought a Nissan Pathfinder with N10 million...additional liability, while in the same 2015, Jim's bank MADE a profit of N105.7 billion.

Zenith bank employs hundreds of thousands, and feeds their families

My first attempt was 2m on June 24 which didn't go through until I reduced the amount to 1m before it went but didn't get processing SMS, only OTP code. I tried again on June 25 and I kept getting daily limit exceeded by 1m.
