When we are saying that Obaseki can’t win this unreasonable fight his starting against Oshiomohle, the children of hate were busy calling us names. Now where are the Edo is not Lagos crew?. Where are the Obaseki is a political giant in edo crew?
As far as the primary in edo is concerned Obaseki is a forgotten story. He will run to everyone he has insulted in the last 2 years but it will be too late. PMB will tell him to obey party decision. Now Oyegun and the state party faction should be able to win him return ticket. Obaseki goofed by starting the fight because he want to control everything as a sitting Governor, but now he will not complete his dream 8 years.

Edo state will b lost to the opposition, mark my word. Another Zamfara loading. Remember Oshiomole remains suspended likewise the Gov's faction. There is going to b a parallel primary election, after which all these will b challenged in court to the advantage of the opposition.

APC learnt from Zamfara issue and that’s the reason the NWC choose the Direct Primary. The question is why is Obaseki running up and down to the so called God fathers.

Governor Obaseki, between you and Oshiomole, who has more political capital? If the APC were to sacrifice someone between you and Oshiomole, who would they get rid of? You had zero electoral value but Oshiomole pushed you through the primaries and the main elections, against the advise of his own cabinet; yet you chose to mess him up. Do not be like the proverbial cockroach, who was invited to lunch with chickens and thought itself a chicken because it has wings; it would surely end up in the belly of the chicken.

If the crisis continue for a long time they may not be an election in Edo state the way things are going.

APC will rather loose to the opposition. That would be the downfall of APC in Nigeria. They must thread carefully, else, they regret their actions forever. The path they are trolling might end like Zamfara

Before you say Jack, they would have enthroned a Fulani stooge as next governor of Edo state. For ego and personal gain, Oshiomwole is fighting Obaseki, just like Tinubu fought Ambode.

Obaseki's end has come. The man did nothing in Edo state. He goes around claiming the projects of FG and NDDC cause he has none to show. I wonder what he will use to campaign.

The best thing for him, is to beg Oshiomole, those house of assembly members.
No permanent friend and enemy in politics.
The case of Pastor Ize-iyamu that Oshiomole betrayed to paved way for Obaseki, see now, it is now the same Oshiomole fighting for pastor Ize to be Governor.
APC Might loose to PDP considering what happen in Zamfara. But if this happen only Pastor Ize-Iyamu will be the biggest loser. It will now be had i know I should have stay back in PDP.

The reason he commands the awe you could ever imagine is because he doesn't interfere in petty politics. All the parties involved are his subjects and loved equally. He could only demand at least reasonable governance from whosoever emerge. After all, all the politicians behave the same way. Thus kill this your needless attention seeking comments and comparison. Oh! I understand, it isn't easy to have a political appointee "king" who can be thrown out anytime by a Local government Chairman.

So if Covid 19 doesn't end soon, are they going to hold indirect gubernatorial election in Edo state?
