Salihu Tanko Yakasai: Kaduna-Kano Rail Will Never Be Completed – Ganduje’s Aide by ijustdey: 9:51am On May 26, 2020
Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a media aide to Governor Ganduje of Kano state, said the Kaduna-Kano rail project will never be completed.

Yakasai stated this on Twitter.

Minister of Transportation, Amaechi, in 2019 had said that the Federal Government had secured a loan for the project.

He said the rail line would run to Lagos via Ibadan, conveying about 30 million tons of cargoes.

He also stated that the project will kick-start “soon”

A twitter user, on Monday, then asked Amaechi when the Kaduna-Kano rail project will kick-start.

Reacting to the question, Yakasai said: “Forget it sir.

“I’ve lost all hope. Even if they start they can’t finish it before 2023 and it will be another dredging of river Niger that will never be completed.”

What business does a MEDIA AIDE to a State Governor has with being sceptical about a FG project being completed before a particular date? Was he the person who told Pres. Buhari to focus on building train infrastructure? Did anybody bargain for COVID-19 pandemic disruption when the project was conceived?

Salihu Tanko Yakasai should leave Chibuike Amaechi to worry about train. He should rather worry about how to control COVID-19 in Kano State.

A failure is a failure is a failure. Buhari Failed in 1983, he failed from 2015- 2019, and the failure will continue till 2023.

Nothing surprises us anymore. We have knon Buhari is a failure since 1983, reasons Igbos never voted for him, even when he paired with Chuba Okadigbo, our most respected politician.
